Two truths and a lie:
It wasn't wasted.
It wasn't for your guy.
The horse chick behind me in line with the pink hair and who vouldn't get through security at the airport because of her piercings was checking me out.
It started strong but she lost me.
I can't decide to go "See, the Patriarchy doesn't exist" or "yay for the XY chromosome!"
TL;DR: Don't drop this content on a friday.

In America, men have worse health outcomes across every ethnic, racial and socioeconomic group; they are more likely to die at every age; and they lead in 13 of the top 15 causes of death.
Meanwhile, the National Institutes of Health spends about 2.5 times more on women’s health research than it does on men’s, and this has been true for nearly forty years.
Yet, despite this… there are now eight federal, tax-funded Offices of Women’s Health, and zero for men.
And so, statistically speaking, the formation of the first Office of Men’s Health seems like a no-brainer, and an urgently needed step to help stem the deluge of early male deaths.
But sadly, many still find it a controversial ask, and remain dedicated to undermining any political move to open such an office.
Instead, such people insist the opposite is true: that women’s health is where attention, and all the funding, should go.
So let’s look at the stats and ask what is so unpopular about men living long, healthy, happy lives…
What do you think?

The saddest part of being on X is that I am worried that every new account I see is AI or worse.
I used to forge "relationships" with people who were smart and (or?) funny or insightful or who just have my brand of Liberty living crazy. Even scammers.
Now? Zero trust.
Zero.
30 years ago the penetration of PCs at white collar desktops hadn't fully taken off. Don't even mention blue collar workplaces.
Accountants, some engineers, and "thinking" types used them.
So what? Tech competency wasn't a big deal. The average worker didn't need to worry about computers.
Today almost everyone (except maybe janitors?) needs to know "tech."
So what? Using computers effectively requires a cerain minimal intellect. A level that wasn't required for the same roles in the past.
Which means fewer people can do those jobs and more people are locked out of them: the people who don't have as many working opportunities because they're not "smart enough."
So we are removing people from the workforce (bad for the economy and an impacted indovodual's ego).
People who can't get jobs are not as healthy, more likely to abuse drugs, and potentially break the law. None of which are good for the individual or society.
So Universal basic income? Nice try but that doesn't fix the ego, health, or drug use.
Technology unlocks tremendous productivity gains and profits but destroys the portion of society who needs the most help and assistance.
TL;DR: I am now a Luddite.
I don't understand why @RoyCooperNC is still spending money on attack ads against whatshisface.
He is up in the polls by 10 points.
