GOVT INTENSIFIES CLOUD-SEEDING EFFORTS AMID SUPER EL NIÑO WARNINGS In light of the unprecedented Super El Niño warnings being issued by global climate agencies, Government is intensifying mitigatory measures, including cloud-seeding efforts to increase chances of precipitation. Cloud seeding is set to commence on 01 November 2026, using three aircraft based in Harare, Bulawayo and Masvingo. The Harare station will cover all Mashonaland Provinces, Bulawayo will cover all Matabeleland Provinces, and Masvingo will cover Midlands, Manicaland and Masvingo Provinces. Government continues to mobilise resources to ensure the success of this critical programme.
