ONE OF THE GREATEST QUOTES EVER.

Dan Campbell has a special spot in his heart for high school football.
I asked the Lions head coach if he had a message for players and coaches beginning their seasons. His answer was as fantastic as you’d expect it to be.

Body language gives people information.
Everyone gets beat.
Don’t give the other guy ammo with your body language.
Don’t sulk or carry it into the next snap.
Get back to the line like nothing happened.
You still have 40 more plays to go.

Best days of the year. Just pure football! HS camp starts today at 3:30pm in the old auditorium. If you need helmet/practice jersey, please plan to arrive by about 3:00pm. We’ll get you fitted before going to the field.

Rocky began as a script about one man's struggle, but five decades later, it has become a global symbol of perseverance that transcends borders. As we celebrate America 250, people still show up to run those same steps Rocky ran in 1976, all 72 of them.

That line should be printed on every locker room wall in America.
Talent matters.
But mindset, toughness, and team-first habits matter more.

Lou Holtz passed away today. 🙏
One reminder he often shared:
Every teammate should ask three questions:
1. Can I trust you?
2. Are you committed?
3. Do you care about me?
When players can answer yes to all three…
Teams become special.

Appreciate the NOW.
Rick Pitino is spot on. Every player’s hourglass runs out faster than they think.
One day, the practices, the games, the grind - it’s all gone.
Cherish every rep, every moment, every opportunity.
Don’t waste your sand. ⏳

KEEP WRESTLING.
We couldn’t agree more @jockowillink . Wrestling builds character at a time when character is no longer optional.
It gives kids structure in a world that offers very little. Discipline when excuses are everywhere. Accountability when no one is watching.
At a time when the suicide rate among our youth continues to rise, wrestling provides something increasingly rare: purpose, mentorship, and a place where struggle is met with support rather than isolation.
Wrestling teaches you to show up early, work when it’s hard, and take responsibility for your outcomes. Those lessons carry far beyond the mat and into every aspect of life.
This is why wrestling matters. This is why communities need it.
