Public pensions parked at least $578 billion of teachers’ and firefighters’ retirement money in AI stocks - right before they started tumbling “On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the Equable Institute, a bipartisan nonprofit, estimated that U.S. state and local pension funds held at least $578.1 billion in AI-related companies as of June 30, 2026. Its upper estimate reached $706.6 billion…” @247WallSt

James Talarico traces 50 years of trickle-down back to one 1971 document, the Powell memo, a corporate blueprint to buy power “In fact, you can, you can pinpoint this one document called the Powell memo, 1971.” “But if you read this memo, it's basically a blueprint for how corporate interests can start to dismantle the Great Society and the New Deal” “They're going to spend massive amounts of money in our politics, buying politicians in both parties, elevate corporate voices in media, appoint sympathetic judges.” “And that has really been the story of the last 50 years in this country, last five decades.” w/ @jamestalarico

El-Sayed identifies THE hurdle to the Democrats effectively governing starting in 2027 ....
El-Sayed: "People don't trust our party because too often we're funded by the very same people who fund Republicans... Can we actually cut the cord that we've had to corporate money and start governing like we give a damn about working people?"

Men get fired over racist jokes Women can ruin a man’s life with fake rape accusations, get caught and still keep their DEI position at MIT
She demanded 'hard' sex, joked about being gang-raped... then drove her MIT scientist lover to attempt suicide with #MeToo lie. Now read the disgraceful texts that landed her $10m in debt trib.al/IFJSy9a

🇺🇸 A MeToo accusation cost one of MIT’s top biologists his lab and his career, and now a jury says it was defamation A Boston jury of 7 women and 6 men ordered Dr. Kristin Knouse to pay Dr. David Sabatini $6 million plus interest after seeing her own explicit private messages to him, including ones where she asked for rough sex and joked about gang rape. Jurors also threw out her harassment and retaliation claims. He says the fallout drove him to attempt suicide. Knouse is appealing, and the institute that pushed him out still stands by its findings. Every university that rushed to convict someone in the court of public opinion should be sweating right now... Source: Daily Mail, Science / Writers: Naz, Daniel

Women make money to say, I don't need a man. Men make money to say, My wife and kids won't need a damn thing. And people wonder why dating is fucked. Men are told to become providers. Women are told to become independent of providers. One side is being trained to build a family. The other is being told needing one is weakness. And everybody acts shocked when the whole fucking thing falls apart.

Schumer's top donors are wall street finance and wall street lawyers - he is the problem
Schumer: I'm not the issue. It's staying together on what the American people care about so we can have that generational remaking of the map. That's the key issue here.

In place of qualified staff, Trump relied on outside advisors, relatives, and self-appointed internet activists whose lists of “enemies within” reached his desk, while intelligence assessments did not. foreignpolicy.com/2026/09/09…

I had to study this a long time. It shows what happened. More didn't votes before went Dem. The amount that went Republican were offset by Republicans who chose not to vote or voted Dem. Republican overall flat. Dem had big gains in votes.

If you are a Texan, you need to listen to this exchange. I’m just going to say this right now… IF @GinaHinojosaTX is even remotely sincere about what she just said in this clip, and I pray she is, then Texas didn’t just elect another loony progressive, woke radical Democrat as Governor… Texas elected an intelligent, self-declared “economic populist” who values economic growth, recognizes the fundamental difference between culture war and class war, REJECTS woke, is ANTI big tech oligarchy, ANTI data center, and ANTI surveillance state. If I’m being brutally honest, she sounds far more sane and reasonable than ANYONE I have heard on the GOP side. Listening to this, it’s not hard to imagine why Greg Abbott as badly as he did. I’m not saying we will agree on everything, or even that she is legit, but IF she is this could possibly be an overall net positive for Texas.
This contentious interchange between the NY Times and @GinaHinojosaTX was truly amazing. Hinojosa offered one of the best explanations of populism I've ever seen. Her comments were a total rejection of Corporate Dems' neoliberal formula. Her Texas victory is a game changer.

Serious questions to those headlines that say the NASDAQ lost $2.3 trillion in one day. Where do they think it went? 🤣 Was it ever really there.

What's still missing from many on the election, is that the Fetterman's and Mace's have no power anymore. And the moderates can rule easier now.
