What an awesome experience today the 1st time working the polls in the most populous city in TX!
It was a celebration every time a 1st time voter appeared! We had a record number of 18 year old 1st time voters!
Each one received a round of applause from the polling staff!

I know that everyone is focused on Trump's attacks in California and Alaska. My team is fighting in court in both places.
But the fight for free and fair elections is much broader. Elias Law Group is currently litigating 92 voting and election cases in 42 states plus DC.

Vivek Ramaswamy put out a political ad which basically embraces/enables pedophiles.
And this ad is openly endorsed by the POTUS, who himself happens to be a convicted felon/adjudicated rapist/suspected pedophile.
I swear to you that if I had Elon Musk's trillions, I would not hesitate to build a 5,525 mile-long SOLID WALL between America and us.
I kid you not.
I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I post this to wish @amyactonoh all the best. She overcame unspeakable abuse to get to this point. I see this as personal not political. Do not underestimate the resilience it took.
Fuck Politics. Fuck Vivek gentle with a chainsaw.

You took marching orders from Trump. You filed a frivolous and sanctionable case. You are going to lose.
Mary Peltola is going to win this election and when she is sworn in, I hope you are there to sit and weep.
The Department of Justice does not seek to stop any ballot from being cast or to stop the certification of Alaska's election. This litigation seeks to ensure that after Alaskans cast their ballots, they are preserved in a manner so that only Alaska's governing officials have the information necessary to make a determination as to whether Alaskan voters were confused or mislead.
The lawsuit was written by Justice Department attorneys and the Department did not coordinate with any campaign or candidate, but rather relied solely on federal law.

Elon Musk is threatening democrats who want to investigate him…saying he’ll find out who’s pulling the strings.
Listen here, you little fake face bitch. I’m running for Congress…and your threats don’t scare me.
Nobody owns me…you want to talk about puppets and strings? Look in the fucking mirror.
You’re the one with strings attached, Elon…and your fucking strings are showing.
With that shit you just pulled in Ukraine…those strings are attached directly to Putin.
We’re sick of your little pedophile wannabe ass… yes you’re going to fucking prison… And if I had it my way, it would be even worse than that…maybe we’ll even send your ass to Mars…I heard it’s cold as hell there
You are a stain on humanity

The fossil fuel industry pollutes for free.
But in the rest of the world, nothing is free. People are dealing with climate-driven price hikes for home insurance, food, and other basics.
Polluters should be paying these costs – not the people.

Thank you, Pebbles. What I admire most about Peter is that he devoted decades to helping people whose suffering rarely makes headlines. His work long predates the controversies surrounding him today, and I hope this thread helps more people appreciate that remarkable commitment. He deserves our gratitude and respect.

Most people know Dr. Peter Hotez from his television appearances during COVID, his defense of vaccination, and the relentless attacks directed at him on social media.
I know Peter as a friend. And I want to tell you about another part of his life that rarely enters those arguments.
For more than four decades, Peter has devoted much of his scientific career to diseases that afflict some of the poorest people on Earth. Diseases that cause enormous suffering but attract relatively little commercial investment because the people who need treatment often cannot afford to pay for it.
Hookworm. Schistosomiasis. Chagas disease. Leishmaniasis.
These are hardly household names. Their victims rarely make headlines, and the scientists working on them seldom become celebrities.
Peter chose this field long before COVID, long before the cable news appearances, and long before strangers began calling him a pharmaceutical industry shill.
His career deserves a closer look.
Because the work tells a story that is almost entirely absent from the accusations made against him.
