THE FINALS has just received a new hotfix and a dev update
Embark has said they are working on more updates, including:
- Toggle for the glowing effect on the UI
- Improvements to the shotgun pellets' hitmarkers
- Restoring support for Ultrawide
- Fixing an issue where Daily and Weekly contracts could not be completed in bot matches
Today's hotfixes:
- Fixed several crashes on PS5 and Xbox that could occur during loading screens
- Fixed an issue where players could not swap loadouts after being eliminated in certain game modes
- Fixed an issue where the Guardian Turret could not detect targets correctly
- Fixed an issue where the Grappling Hook could be activated before the cooldown fully reset
- The fish tail on the “Murky Business” skin for the M60 will no longer obstruct the player's view when using certain weapon sights
- Added the missing sticker from the “Cold Brew-Tality Set”

If you want to be sad about a legacy org going away, be sad about Complexity.
It was still run by the OG owner and was one of the best-run and benevolent teams in esports.
The LARP test is whether you are more sad about EG or coL.
If you play @Halo you should shift to @reachthefinals instead. Season 12 came out today, it's f2p, has an open comp scene (still in its infancy) & your skills on controller/MnK will be super transferable. It's got a long ttk, no radar/minimap & tons of depth. Obj > all.
