Sadā śāradāḥ ṣaṇmṛgāṅkā yadi syuḥ Samudyanta ēva sthitāśchētsamantāt | Sadā pūrṇabimbāḥ kaḻaṅkaiścha hīnā- Stadā tvanmukhānāṃ bruvē skanda sāmyam || 13 ||
Gist
In this famous verse, Adi Shankaracharya demonstrates the supreme, peerless beauty of Lord Murugan's six faces through a poetic impossibility:
"O Lord Skanda! Even if six autumn moons were to rise simultaneously all around us, and even if those six moons remained permanently full without ever waning, and even if they were completely spotless without any dark marks—only then might I compare them to Your six divine faces. Since such flawless moons do not exist in nature, Your six faces stand beyond all comparison!"

Dvādaśabhiḥ bhujājaiḥ: By those twelve lotus-like arms (dvādaśa bhuja).
Meaning: "...arms that jingle softly with golden wristlets—Your twelve lotus-like arms...
"Virājehi me mānase ṣaṇmukha tvam:Virājehi: Please shine / reign brilliantly. Me mānase: In my mind / heart (mānasa).Ṣaṇmukha: O Lord Shanmukha (Six-Faced Lord)! Tvam: You.
Meaning: "...O Lord Shanmukha! May You shine magnificently with these twelve arms within my mind!"

In this verse, Adi Shankaracharya meditates on Lord Murugan’s twelve arms (Dvadasa Bhuja):"O Lord Shanmukha!
