It's important to note that:
A - the Shoalhaven councillors did not vote on this, CEO Andrew Constance decided it himself. Email correspondence and statements from organisers confirm that the final decision was an operational directive issued by the CEO alone.
B - Andrew Constance, self-declared friend of Israel, based his alleged decision on Nowra suddenly being a hot-bed of antisemitism based on a report that he himself commissioned.
Note - even the report he commissioned showed no mention of security problems, threats or counter protests, nor does this art exhibition have any history of that.
No perceived threat of any kind is listed above medium and even then, it was on the organisers, not Council.
It's almost as if Andrew Constance invented a perceived threat, pretended it existed and then used his invented perception as an excuse to cancel the exhibition.

Leading chants at protests. Some people have it, some don't. Don't drawl your words, stay on beat. Keep the BPM appropriate for walking pace, not too slow. Work with the drummers, don't make them chase you every other bar because you're not rhythmic enough for the job.

I am the person who held the “Mossad Minns must go” and “Zionism is racism. Boycott divest sanction” sign at the Global Day for Gaza protest in Sydney on Sunday.
Since then, Premier Chris Minns, the Daily Telegraph and the Zionist lobby have made a number of defamatory comments and publications about me and other peaceful protestors.
These tired tactics are a distraction.
Israel is a genocidal, apartheid, terrorist state.
Israel is committing genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, the West Bank and southern Lebanon. There is an ICC arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity for the Israeli Prime Minister and the former Israeli Defence Minister.
Israel has killed approximately 100,000 Palestinians and Lebanese over the last 3 years, including at least 20,000 children, injured hundreds of thousands of people and displaced millions.
Israel has killed members of my family in Lebanon, including a doctor, who died when his medical centre was hit by an Israeli airstrike. Israel has destroyed our family home and our entire village in southern Lebanon.
The response from politicians, the media, and racist far-right lobby groups in Australia has been and continues to be appalling; targeting, attacking, criminalising, cancelling, dehumanising and defaming Arabs, Muslims and other allies who oppose Israel’s genocide, including anti-zionist Jews who stand steadfastly with us. They continue to deny, defend, downplay and deflect Israel’s atrocities including genocide.
Premier Minns has repeatedly been pulled into line by the courts for inflicting unconstitutional laws on the people of NSW. These unconstitutional laws are the reason that police felt empowered to commit violence against innocent people at Town Hall in February.
They will not scare us. They will not silence us. They will not stop us. We will continue to call for the liberation of Palestine and Lebanon.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

I get sick of the general narrative that humanity’s greatest enemy is itself.
Most humans are pretty cool creatures. All the trouble has come from a small and select group of humans.
Those humans are the rest of humanity’s greatest enemy.
A good demonstration of just how bad these cameras are, they should be able to resolve a face at this distance, but the footage posted is a total mess.

Do not wait for the disaster to happen before you decide to care. I have just returned from Gaza’s shoreline, and I am furious. What I saw there was beyond heartbreaking.
Tens of thousands of exhausted, torn and barely standing tents are spread along the beach. Families and children are living only meters away from the sea, inside pieces of fabric that can barely protect them from the sun, let alone the coming winter. These are not proper shelters. They are what people have been forced to call home.
In just a few days, summer will end and winter will arrive. We already know what happened last year. Rain flooded the tents, families slept in soaked conditions, and children were left exposed to cold, mud and water. Yet here we are again, with tents that are even more damaged and worn out, and with nowhere else for people to go.
How much more suffering do people have to endure before the world decides that enough is enough? How is it acceptable that hundreds of thousands of people are being left to face another winter without proper shelter? This is not a surprise. The warning signs are right in front of us.
A tent is not a home. A torn piece of fabric cannot protect a family from a storm. No parent should have to wonder whether rain will flood the place where their children sleep, or whether they will have anything dry left in the morning.
Do something before the rain comes. Speak about Gaza. Share what is happening. Demand action. Do not wait for the images of children shivering in flooded tents to appear on your screens before you finally react.
The catastrophe is coming, it is visible, and the world has no excuse for saying it did not know.
