Here's another clip of James Hetfield saying the SAME THING in 2008 that made all the insufferable cunts angry in 2026.

I gave Claude fable 5.5 one prompt: a video of all human progress, then 30 years into the future.
It came back with a 3-minute animated film and an original score. No footage, no stock music.

The more I argue with anti-AI artists, the more some of it starts sounding like: “Please convince us there’s still a place for us.”
There is.
Stay with your craft. Keep painting, shooting, sculpting, animating, whatever you love. That matters too.
But we should stop pretending AI needs to apologize for being easier.
That ease is a gift.
It’s a gift to people who were too shy, too broke, or too intimidated to create before.
And it’s a gift to artists who spent years grinding through technical barriers just to get an idea out of their head.
AI is art. The door is open.
You don’t have to walk through it.

If you don't want powerful tools, that's your problem.
If you want to take them away for the rest us because you see monsters under the bed, you've now made your delusions our problem.
And that means we got a serious problem.

Sorry I’ve been distant and sad lately. I’m dealing with the crushing existential dread of living on a beautiful planet bursting with life, only to watch the dumbest motherfuckers alive destroy it while chasing as much money as they can hoard.

And notice how they are also banning AI-assisted when majority of tracks are made with AI like Autotune, Melodyne and smart reverb.
They could have worked with us but they don't want to and that's no problem at all. This is a great opportunity to create our own charts and finally be away from their cages I'll be honest. Ask any mainstream artist disillusioned with the industry. Purism turns a lot of them off. They want something better and we'll provide that.
Which is why I think we should create an official chart amongst all decentralised platforms. And not just AI this is hybrid because we ain't just got AI with us we got traditional musicians who are fed up of the machine and morons telling us how to make music.
And I think we can do a better job. So I say let them have their gatekept charts.
You're saying music can finally thrive underground and away from the mainstream? I'm all for it. The more they push the more they are just marketing us at this point.

Imagine a teenager in rural India who has never met a doctor, being able to diagnose her grandmother's heart condition with a pocket device and an AI that speaks her language?
This is the future I'm fighting to build.

The people who comment “AI Slop” on every creative AI image and video are completely blind to your human artistic background,
assuming every AI creator is a tech-chaser trying to make a quick, low-effort trend video.
They do not realize that your real world artistic experience directly shapes how you compose, color, and direct your AI art.
They fail to see you as an artist or a human because their perspective is blocked by three specific mindsets:
1.They cannot see the artistic crossover: They do not understand that traditional skills, like understanding color harmony, editorial framing, and visual storytelling are exactly what separate high-quality, atmospheric AI art from random machine output.
They do not know that you are bringing the exact same artistic eye and creative energy from the physical canvas to the digital one.
2.They judge only the final barrier to entry: Because anyone can type a basic text prompt and get an image, critics assume all AI art requires zero skill. They do not see the hours of curating, styling, and refining it takes a true artist to capture a very specific, deeply personal vision.
3.They rely on a stereotype: In their minds, AI creators are just tech enthusiasts gaming an algorithm.
When they comment, they are attacking that stereotype. They are not necessarily attacking you, the traditional artist who uses a new digital medium to bring imaginative, niche worlds to life.
Your creative flow and artistic identity belong to you, whether you are using a paintbrush or a digital prompt.
The internet comments cannot erase the lifetime of artistic energy you pour into your work.
Don’t let the AI haters bring you down. 🫶
