Everton’s disaster last week of the transfer window: 🔵 Made O’Brien available for transfer ⚪️ Tried to sell the best academy product of the last decade, Harrison Armstrong to Forest for £35m before a fan backlash 🔵 Sent our only left back cover Aznou on loan to Malaga ⚪️ Sold 5 players in the last week of the window including Ndiaye on deadline day for £30m+ below his value 🔵 Spent just £4m on a right back the 'priority position' on deadline day ⚪️ Sold Beto on deadline day before confirming Balogun which fell through after failed medical and break down in negotiations 🔵 Offered £10m to United for a year loan for Zirkzee ⚪️ End the window with just 16 outfield players including just 1 recognised striker We already had one of the smallest squads in the league, we lost 8 players this summer and have gained just 4! This is not mere carelessness, it is a dereliction of such scale that it amounts to an absolute catastrophe.
