A lot of problems in relationships today is just men & womens inability to appreciate how the opposite sex works towards things.
An example is a woman telling a man a problem. He starts working to fix the problem which is what she needs. But she also wants to feel good. He can focus on making her feel better but it’s in hers & everyone’s best interest to wait until the problem A is dealt with. Then he can come back & comfort her/make her feel good.
But because she doesn’t feel anything instantly when she tells him the problem she thinks he isn’t putting in the same effort of work when that’s furthest from the case.
There are many times where men & women have problems with thinking neither is doing work in relation to one another because they do not understand or value the work of the opposite sex let alone understand it’s individual importance.
Which is quite sad when you think of it.
& That’s why God made us to marry as men & women. Because we gotta go outside of ourselves to think of the other person in ways unnatural to us. So we learn to put away our selfishness & learn to love the way Christ wants us to. No one is perfect but it makes it easier to have & understand Gods selfless love when you begin to learn & appreciate loving someone of the opposite sex.
You grow as an individual & albeit uncomfortable… it is a rather necessary & beautiful experience to endure.
