It's time to celebrate y'all! It looks like Final Fantasy Resonance is a massive hit! So what does this mean for the future of the franchise, 17s development and SE's whole "back to the basics" approach?! Let's talk about it all!
So did everyone just replace Lid with Nichol the second he joined? He just seems to have so much more versatility, not to mention amazing magic power, while Lid has... earth magic.

Excellent news! I hope this helps SE see the light! They did when they changed DQ12 from "adult" back to traditional, Mana back to action, and Star Ocean back to the basics. Please bring Final Fantasy back to what made it so popular to begin with!
Final Fantasy Resonance is the second-biggest Steam launch of any turn-based RPG from Square Enix gamesradar.com/games/final-f…
I don't get this fanbase. I've been a fan since day 1 - I'm one of the few who began with the first game on the NES and I love old school games, I love SNES games and I'm loving Final Fantasy Resonance - it was made for people like me.
But apparently saying that you love the game makes you "disingenuous" - aka a liar. These people think I have nothing bette to do than spend my vacation lying on Twitter about a video game. It couldn't possibly be that I genuinely enjoy the game

What are you talking about…? ‘Old school challenge’? People are being so weird about this game I don’t understand it. Gacha title from 2010 with a new Octopath Traveler battle system but it’s apparently a ‘classic title’. So disingenuous.
Final Fantasy Resonance is so refreshing because it has that old school challenge. I met Ramuh, had my ass handed to me and had to come back and take him down later. The minimap only shows the main passage, I have to find the secrets myself. It's nice to have to manage MP in a dungeon and not just get automatically healed after every fight.
I love how it makes you manage your resources, think about your your visions and actually strategize. Equipment isn't automatically always better - it's nice to save old stuff for new situations, finally an RPG that treats us like we have a brain! Old school is back and better than ever!!

I've got my laydown pod and I've got my Final Fantasy Resonance! I'll wake up all refreshed and set for my European vacation!
This is sad. He was one of my favorite artists growing up. I remember in 5th grade we had to line dance to Seminole Wind in PE, and I bought his greatest hits CD for Straight Tequila Night - which I still listen to all the time today.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to go on vacation, but I planned this trip at the worst time. Tons of games are releasing right now and I'm even considering getting back into streaming, and Resonance would be the perfect game for that. But instead I'll be on a flight to Venice. Watching football for 5 hours = perfectly fine!
Playing games for 5 hours = OMG WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!?!??
