I track $JOBY and eVTOLs PRECISELY because it challenges this dim view in general aviation:
that innovation will slow down.
that over regulation will delay progress.
that hydrogen is too far off.

$JOBY: The S4-T didn't happen overnight, it's the payoff after a decade partnering w/ multiple branches of the US military, beginning with a 2016 DIU contract 🇺🇸💪
Since 2023, the Air Force has flown Joby's all-electric S4 eVTOLs at Edwards AFB!
Now, Joby & @L3HarrisTech have built that airframe into the formidable S4-T, a scout VTOL the military doesn't have yet. It's a gas turbine hybrid, engineered for contested logistics, counter-UAS, and electronic warfare.
👀 What most people are missing...if the S4-T lands a @DeptofWar contract in the next few quarters, that means scaling up the $JOBY S4 air taxi production may happen even faster!
