The quantity of butter in my packet of @akshayakalpa milk today was so atrociously high that I came back to this platform today to complain that this company is spoiling me 😭 I can never drink any other milk again. Akshayakalpa is seriously 100% worthu for the money we pay💰✨🥹
Adai is such an easy and forgiving dish. You throw whatever you want into it in any proportion, you can still get a tasty, nutritious meal for about half the effort of a dosai.
I didn't think it mattered how you invited someone to your wedding. But when a close friend who lived about 2 kms away didn't visit in person or send a card or call and only invited me via WhatsApp, I decided that the friendship was over then and there.
Is true. Most boys I went to school with have vastly similar lives. The girls, especially from my higher secondary school and college? Really wild extremes there. Not that one lifestyle is better than the other, but many girls didn't have a choice.
If you went to school in a Tier 2/3 city, the girls that you went to school with have the most wildly different outcomes. As to where did they end up. Boys tend to converge to a broad spectrum, but the girls have the widest divergence. Arrange married to an LIC agent in Muzaffarpur to being an investment banker in Manhattan.
100% true. My heels used to have soooo many cracks before and most of it is gone now only thanks to wearing slippers indoor.
This must be well known already, but still sharing because it worked for me.
The best and most effective solution for cracked heels/feet is wearing slippers indoors as well. Worked like magic for both me and @TheFotato. 1000% recommended.

If you're dating someone in India and haven’t talked about caste, family pressure or where you’ll settle, you’re not in love. You’re just in a phase. Most relationships don’t survive outside the vibe. Let’s talk about why

I don’t want to connect my coffee machine to the wifi network. I don’t want to share the file with OneDrive. I don’t want to download an app to check my car’s fluid levels. I don’t want to scan a QR code to view the restaurant menu. I don’t want to let Google know my location before showing me the search results. I don’t want to include a Teams link on the calendar invite. I don’t want to pay 50 different monthly subscription fees for all my software. I don’t want to upgrade to TurboTax platinum plus audit protection. I don’t want to install the Webex plugin to join the meeting. I don’t want to share my car’s braking data with the actuaries at State Farm. I don’t want to text with your AI chatbot. I don’t want to download the Instagram app to look at your picture. I don’t want to type in my email address to view the content on your company’s website. I don’t want text messages with promo codes. I don’t want to leave your company a five-star Google review in exchange for the chance to win a $20 Starbucks gift card. I don’t want to join your exclusive community in the metaverse. I don’t want AI to help me write my comments on LinkedIn. I don’t even want to be on LinkedIn in the first place.
I just want to pay for a product one time (and only one time), know that it’s going to work flawlessly, press 0 to speak to an operator if I need help, and otherwise be left alone and treated with some small measure of human dignity, if that’s not too much to ask anymore.

Her in-laws said she slipped and fell down a flight of stairs. If her father hadn’t checked her phone, these details of constant harassment for 2 years wouldn’t have surfaced. And this after she knew her husband since childhood. No uproar about this case like Atul Subhash because we’re immune to women distraught enough to attempt suicide because of men/in-laws/marriage. And in this dystopian world, even a deserved alimony is the only crime. Dowry and dowry deaths are whitewashed and/or denied completely.

When I was young and picking fights with people all over the internet, I didn't realize I might actually run into and work alongside some of them. OMG. Reliving some 10 year old cringe now after I saw this guy in the office.

Everyone telling you you're not middle class because earning 10-15 Lakh in India means you in the top 5% is wrong. You're most definitely middle class!
Even earning 30 Lakhs, you're middle class!
The middle class isn't economically in the middle. That's a misconception. 🧵
In today's digital landscape,
In this digital realm,
In the current digital era,
Everyone who *actually* puts pen to the paper (or the finger to the keyboard) is tired of every post that starts with one of the three lines given above.

I can't wait to get to that phase in life where I finish sorting everything and can actually chill without worrying about my education and career.
I want to be like "Yeah, I'm settled and I'm good."
