The comments section shows exactly why itās such a problem tooā¦ we all know Twitter is full of this, but itās this sentiment thatās also driving the rises in antisemitism in schools and on the streets too. I hate to say it but social media is a loud voice for the horrible.
I do enjoy/worry about the fact people think the same sophisticated Mossad operations that created the āpagerā Trojan horse attack, was used to manipulate some votes in a song contest for the UK specifically so they got some more votes. But clearly werenāt good enough to win. š¤¦āāļø

Gongs AI is, imo, the most impactful and useful AI integration in the SaaS market today. It works, SO well, for so many use cases related to understanding content from large quantities of calls with customers or prospects.
This isnāt going to slow down for them š„
š„ Gong announced itās just crossed $300 million in ARR š„
Thatās impressive, but I think even more impressive than it sounds.Ā Because while I donāt have the exact numbers, I do think Gong has reaccelerated the past 6-9 months.Ā
Itās clearly growing faster today, at $300m, than it did at $200m, when a wave of consolidation and cutbacks hit the overall space.Ā CEO Amit Bendov was kind enough to join us at SaaStr Europa in June 2024 and talk about their approach to AI and more.Ā And while they were doing well then, they werenāt growing as fast as they are today.
AI isnāt the only answer, but it does seem clear that Gong has been able to in part ride the AI wave, rather than be overwhelmed by it:
āThe usage of Gong's AI capabilities has risen by nearly 50% in the last 12 months. Notably, Ask Anything, one of the most popular AI features, saw 400%+ year-over-year growth.ā
Which actually just makes sense.Ā After all, Gong was perhaps the original ML player in the space ā well before AI was cool :)
Gong also noted that 25% of its customers now are multi-product.Ā This is also a partial key to re-acceleration.Ā
Gong, Salesloft, Outreach, HubSpot as well as many of the newer guard have gone from partners to partial competitors.Ā Many customers do want to consolidate on one platform.Ā Gong in the early days of this wave was often hurt by consolidation at first during the Great App Purge of 2022, but today it seems to be benefitting as it itself has become a much broader platform and multi-product.
š It begs the question: is the sales and revenue acceleration space ābackā?
Maybe.Ā But itās different:
ā”ļø ZoomInfo has seen churn stabilize, although it hasnāt yet returned to growth mode
ā”ļø New leaders like Clay are growing at jaw-dropping rates
ā”ļø Salesforce has invested deeply in AgentForce, with seemingly impressive early adoption ā but so far it hasnāt boosted revenue
ā”ļø Pure play non-AI players donāt seem to be growing any faster or seeing any re-acceleration
Gong crossing $300m ARR and re-accelerating is a great sign.Ā It shows budget remains in the sales acceleration space ā where and when itās earned.Ā But while itās the best of times for many new, disruptive players in AI in B2B, itās a bit early to see how big a boost it gives overall to the revenue management.
But early signs are encouraging.

I just watched a distressed Jewish woman try to get past a screaming horde as they chant in support of the Houthi terrorists. A loud drum beats and masked men are shouting at Jewish women in London in 2024. And nothing is done to stop it. I am disgusted and ashamed. @metpoliceuk

It's interesting as @Airbnb has an incredible product/service. But the abuse within their marketplace is very quickly destroying their reputation. I've returned to defaulting to hotels to avoid these issues, but great "sellers" are then losing out. Fascinating to watch
