I'd like to announce that @Golden has been acquired by @ComplyAdvantage. This takes us on a new mission of using the knowledge graph to fight financial crime.
Comply Advantage is an AML (anti-money laundering) company which performs KYC (know your customer), KYB (know your business) and general transaction monitoring. They catch the bad guys in the systems you see all around you in banking, fintech and pretty much anytime money moves around.
Golden and Comply Advantage will merge their knowledge graphs and data extraction systems, putting them to use to catch bad actors, whether these be companies, legal structures or people.
The merged entity of Golden and ComplyAdvantage has become a unicorn upon the transaction, and I’ll be joining the board to advise and further this mission.
It has been a monumental journey for the team and I since we launched back in 2019. I'd love to thank the team members, past and present, for everything that has been built and created over the years. I'd also like to thank our investors for supporting us all the way.

If the police believe the sight of a Jewish man might provoke violence from protestors, then the answer is simple - ban the protest.
This would, of course, have been the outcome if the far-right were protesting and intimidating any other minority group.

Walked into a restaurant in London’s Chinatown last night,
While waiting to be seated, some drunken fool, a person I’ve neither met before nor interacted with, sitting with other drunken fools, looks up at me out of nowhere, and asks rather loudly-
“Are you Jewish?”
I was Stunned.
I wasn’t dressed in anything traditional, nor had anything indicating my faith.
The fact that it’s a bizarre thing to ask, not this idiot’s, business, and just a weird thing for him to have done, I was just shocked - realizing that fairly a year ago he wouldn’t have had the gall to do that
1 million different responses raced through my mind-
And to my surprise, (and I’m sure to my Mom’s satisfaction,) the one I chose was to just turn to my friend, carry on talking - and ignore the sheer stupidity I encountered.
No point in wrestling with a pig.
You both get dirty & the pig likes it.
My pride in my Judaism is not going to override my common sense.

It’s really important to recognise just how antisemitic & Holocaust minimising the claim Gaza was a “concentration camp” prior to 7/10 truly is. Especially as the claim is used to justify the invasion of Israel, the intent of which was to torture, kidnap & mass kill Jews

Events like the holocaust become possible when the idea that Jews shouldn’t defend themselves against terrorism becomes normalized.
