Hardcore Punk band Turnstile has raised over $200,000 in humanitarian aid from their benefit concert at the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C.
The concert flyer states that the money raised will be raised for Human Concern International and split evenly for relief efforts in P*lestine, Lebanon, and Sudan.
The daytime concert drew over 60,000 attendees and was within earshot of the White House. Between songs, chants of "Free P*lestine" filled the air as the band delivered a high-energy, historic performance.
Turnstile joins a growing list of artists and performers who join the P*lestine solidarity movement, taking it a step further and playing right in the heart of the financiers of the G*za g*nocide.
We still see no justice for Mohammad Bhar or any disabled Palestinian slaughtered in Gaza three years into this genocide

The 1 year old was shot by police at a Walmart
The officer got away with it
Seeing a bunch of pundits and consultants talk about how unpopular defund or abolish the police are, while we watch a cop get away with murdering a one year old child, shows how fucking psychotic and utterly void of humanity we are
Burn the world down
I’m fascinated by people who think Romulus was an incredible movie.
Genuinely so indicative of this shithole we live in that people saw a freak harass and Sue en masse, support genocide, and kill his dogs
But the straw that broke the camel’s back was infidelity.

I’m grieving the deaths of the two Israeli soldiers killed in Hebron today, and praying for the full & speedy recovery of those who were injured.
I’ve spoken out loudly this week against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, which imposes violence on a daily basis, and I will continue to do so. But violence is not the path to ending it — or to achieving safety, freedom, and peace for both Palestinians and Israelis.
And neither is collective punishment or ethnic cleansing of an entire neighborhood, or punishing millions of people for the criminal act of two, which Netanyahu has promised to enact in response.
I’ve seen a lot this week and I’ll have more to say about in the coming days (I’m on my way home shortly). There is a path to ending this excruciating cycle of violence. It starts by insisting that every life is sacred, that everyone is created in God’s image.
For now: Shabbat Shalom, to everyone who believes in the hard work of making peace & justice a reality, for everyone.

Grieving the deaths of two occupational soldiers facilitating the settler violence that Brad claimed to be against when he did protective presence work. This is the logical end result of Liberal Zionism.
