Spent some time with founders at T-Works and T-Hub last week.
Left with something India needs more of - hope (not the blind optimism kind though)
It also helped me answer Ashlee Vance's recent question:
Why are Indian VCs so afraid to take risks and make money? 🧵
Of course, infrastructure and incubators cannot substitute for good businesses. Founders still need to solve real problems, find paying customers and build sound economics.
Investors need to be disciplined about where they deploy capital.
There's a difference between rejecting a bad business and rejecting an ambitious business simply because the outcome is uncertain. Venture capital, by definition, has to accommodate uncertainty.
Ashlee's question is worth debating. But the answer cannot be just that Indian VCs should take more risks.
(Also, you cannot simply compare Silicon Valley with India for reasons a lot of posts already cover)
In a country where media usually only covers protests and turmoil, I left T-Works and T-Hub with a lot of positivity and hope for India.
The ambition to build is here. The opportunity is to make it easier for that ambition to become reality.
We will get there.... Soon.

India’s manufacturing growth creates opportunities for businesses that improve factory productivity. We mapped 4 layers of enablers
India installed ~10,500 industrial robots in 2025, up 15% YoY and more than 2.4x the 2019 level
Our 1st layer: Factory Productivity & Automation🧵
DailyObjects has convinced value driven Indians to pay INR 1000 for a phone case that otherwise could be a cheap chinese INR 150 purchase. Recently raised INR 332 Crs at INR 1050 Crs post money valuation.
Here's what I think worked:
1. DailyObjects’ playbook is a bit different - lead with design and obsessed over quality and aesthetics.
2. Also, setup its own manufacturing facility instead of choosing to import from China and white label - gives more control over supply chain and quality.
3. Plus, people who are comfortable buying an INR 100,000 phone don't mind spending INR 1,000 for a premium case.
FY26 net revenue of ₹210 Crs, nearly 2x its FY25 revenue of ₹111 crore.
Good to see an Indian brand compete with Spigen, Rinke, Otterbox and other global brands.
Congratulations @pankajgargtwt Saurav Adlakha and @daily_objects team
A bit crazy that Aditya Birla announced entry into cable business in Sep'26 with Ultravolt.
The vendor who dragged Polycab to insolvency is Asier Metals Private Limited. One of the promoters of Asier (Anuj Bareja) served has additional director and director at Birla Copper Asoj Limited - a unit of Hindalco, Aditya Birla Group.
Strange for NCLAT to also stay insolvency proceedings and not see substance over form.
Sounds a bit crazy, but tiny possibility?
Polycab, a company worth ₹1,24,484 crores, has been dragged into insolvency.
The stock has been barred from being traded in derivatives (F&O) w.e.f. Dec 30.
It was dragged into an IBC proceeding just because of a ₹2.79 crore due to a vendor.
The news got out today and the company lost ₹1,735 crores' worth of market cap.
It is a good lesson for big companies who ill-treat their vendors.
Hi @elonmusk - are you being coerced to cut access from Ukraine?
What will happen to the people in rural areas who were benefiting from Starlink?

India also needs businesses around manufacturing:
finance, energy, logistics, skills, safety and cyber.
Hello founders enabling manufacturing - DMs are open :)
India makes only about 13-14% of its GDP in manufacturing.
Adding factories won’t close that gap alone. So we asked a different question: who are the enablers for the manufacturing economy?

She bought the house because prices in Madh island are all set to increase.
No one cares about the environment - all they care about is money.
Archana Puran Singh buying a massive new house just because Samay Raina promoted her YouTube channel on Latent 💀
-People think it's from decades of TV comedy but this is the real power of YouTube and heavy brand deals 😭
-She understood the business perfectly, so she literally launched a personal channel for every single son to farm that family vlogging ad revenue
-No wonder they walked into the new house and immediately started planning where to put the cameras for brand shoots instead of beds lmaoo
The influencer money glitch is actually insane wtff.
