The Vikings are planning to inquire about a trade for Jonathan Taylor, per @RapSheet.
Taylor in Minnesota would be the missing link to match their defense’s firepower.
The Colts would likely want a 1st-round pick in trade involving Taylor.

Some team executives are wondering why the #Colts were in such a rush to trade Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner today with the trade deadline still two weeks away.
Nelson and Buckner were, in the eyes of some, the top G and DT available on this year’s trade market.
The interest — and potentially the value — for both players likely would have increased as the deadline approached and teams entered “now-or-never” mode.
There’s a strong argument that the Colts could’ve gotten more.
