1/3 You’re LITERALLY missing what makes Andor so strong… 💀 Understanding Luthen doesn’t mean absolving him, and loving his writing doesn’t mean endorsing his actions. The show never ignores his victims, it specifically shows the brutality of the sacrifices he forces on others…
Why is it always about what Luthen sacrificed, and not about what his victims sacrificed? That's one thing that gets me about the dramatic emphasis of Andor. We're all supposed to feel so sorry for Luthen for being ruthless and evil--because oh, it makes him feel bad, but he HAD to do it--but there's never any real attempt to grapple with the possibility that he didn't have to do it, that he is just evil, and that he is a monster whose suffering was self-created.
Instead, we get tedious lectures about how "his" sacrifices were the foundation of the Rebel Alliance, and that everyone should be grateful to him. The show is supposedly about moral ambiguity, but none of its fans ever seem to take seriously the idea that Luthen's actions might not have been 100% justified, and that he's just a sick person who uses his ideology as a justification to hurt people. They're like the communist mirror images of "Anakin-maxxers." It's another really sick moral perversion of the intended message of Star Wars.

Some GOP politicians didn’t get the message on Tuesday. Missourians are done with those who try to overturn our votes.
If you're considering contributing to this campaign and you'd rather not light your money on fire, you can send it directly to me instead.
The premise of Rho Khanna being reluctantly pulled into the race is extremely funny politico.com/news/2026/11/05…

Roy Cooper, Sherrod Brown, Scott Colom, Josh Turek, and Mary Peltola were all recruited to run directly by Chuck Schumer. That's 5 of the 9 seats that were flipped. Progressive insurgents flipped one seat (Maine).
Why even fight this battle?

I can't believe no one voted for people who talk like this
If you see takes like this today, it's safe to ignore what they have to say about politics.
Jolly and Nixon came so close with nearly no resources. Abject failure of Democratic leadership in deploying rsources. #youhadonejob

How about some more great news for Missourians? Voters defeated Prop A and Amendment 3 while passing Amendment 6! 💪 WE THE PEOPLE!
Before I’m overwhelmed with Missouri results, gotta shout out how overdue this is. Black women have been THE most reliable and consistent voting group for Democrats, and they are still *extremely* underrepresented in holding elected office. Here’s to the first of many!
