Eric Ulrich trial dispatch: GOP Council member Joann Ariola was caught on a wiretap telling the ex-NYC buildings commissioner that she'd help him get his co-defendant's sister-in-law a city job even though she considered her “a nut and a half." politico.com/newsletters/new…

It was so lovely to speak with the undergrads of @NYUWagner about political communications and the need for young voices, especially with a consequential midterm election on the horizon.

Looks like the long-awaited bike lanes on Cortelyou and Dorchester are finally going in!
We are excited to hear that @nycmayor is prioritizing the long-delayed bike lane network in Flatbush, East Flatbush, and Midwood. We have been advocating for this network for years, both to protect cyclists and to improve safety for all road users in our neighborhoods.

Made my in-studio NY1 debut this weekend to talk about voter registration, early voting, and the NYC Voter Guide Many are saying this is the worst TV performance from a political press secretary they have seen all month..

Keon was practicing this celly since last year?!? LOL
Yikes: Bills struggling WR Keon Coleman was caught DANCING before today's game against the Bucs after being benched by the team for being late to practice on Friday. An AWFUL look for the young receiver...😳😬

New Yorkers ages 25–55 will be able to earn a college degree for free starting in January 2027. Governor Kathy Hochul is expanding the Reconnect program to include adults who already have a degree in a different field. It covers eligible associate degree programs at SUNY and CUNY community colleges in fields such as healthcare, cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing. Tuition, fees, books and supplies are covered to help adults train for new careers. [📸: GETTY ]

I’m glad Nikole Hannah-Jones wrote that essay. I went in thinking I’d roll my eyes, but came out feeling a great deal of empathy and also pain. I went through NYC public schools from K-12. My high school (James Madison HS) had airport-style scanning machines for us to go through every morning. The school boasts such alumni as Bernie Sanders, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Judge Judy, and Chuck Schumer. What happened to NYC public schooling from then to now? The answer is that we, the students, did not fail. We were failed.
