Vinnie Mauri is one of the finest marathoners in US history. He is focused on the @ChiMarathon. @usantidoping tested him at his workout club. Is it pretty normal for USADA to test a new star? What do you think? Great interview at @CitiusMag as well!

Here is the all-time winners' list for the #NB5thAveMile which will be held today for the 45th time. Note that between 1999 and 2004 the race did not have a formal elite field. The elite program was revived in 2005.

Vintage Jakob Ingebrigtsen tonight in Budapest.
26.07 last 200, 12.60 last 100 (!) in a 12:59 race. Brilliant run.
Ingebrigtsen has been essentially unbeatable in championship 5ks. Only loss since 2022 was last year in Tokyo when he was clearly not fit after injury.

"You can't really fake fitness. You have to put in the work." Jakob Ingebrigtsen broke 13 minutes for the first time in five years to win Ultimate Championship 5000m title — capping a remarkable recovery from Achilles surgery that once left him unable to wear socks. 🏆
