➤ Most Web3 projects fail for the same 3 dumb reasons and it’s not because of the tech.
I’ve studied this space deeply, and here’s what I found they're more but let's talk about these 3 reasons
I’ve spent months studying why most Web3 projects fail…
And trust me, it’s not always about the product.
It’s deeper than that.
⪼The first reason:
Founders have no clear idea how to market a Web3 product.
They build great tech but can’t communicate the value.
In Web3, marketing isn’t just ads it’s storytelling, positioning, and building trust.
This is where a real marketer comes in.
Not someone who just runs campaigns…
But someone who understands narratives, token dynamics, and community behavior.
⪼The second reason:
Wrong community model.
I’ve joined projects where devs literally beg for “real investors.”
That’s already a red flag 🚩
A strong community isn’t built on hype it’s built on alignment.
Too many early-stage teams attract people selling hype, not actual solutions.
You can’t build sustainability on noise.
⪼The third reason:
The “Pay-First” marketer problem.
Some marketers only care about being paid, not performance.
They talk big, promise results, and vanish after the deal closes.
This happens when founders don’t understand marketing themselves.
They can’t spot who’s real and end up paying storytellers instead of strategists.
There’s more to this, but it all comes down to one truth:
You can’t fix what you don’t understand.
Once you understand how the system works, solving these problems becomes simple.
If you’re building in Web3, focus on
➙ Real marketing strategies
➙ Aligned communities
➙ Long-term storytelling, not short-term hype
That’s how you win in this space.

Hi there @felix_fan
I think I have something for you.
A software improvement idea and a potential bug relating to wallet security.
1. I love the fact that new users are not stressed to confirm their wallet phrase as it has been before and now in the app there's a notification at the top reminding users to save their passphrase which is cancellable because of the 'x' at the end.
How about a persistent, non-blocking reminder to save their passphrase whenever they want to copy their address to receive valuable assets?
They'd be motivated to do it easily because they don't want to loose their asset and keeping the feature there anytime they want to copy their address will remind them to be sure that they've saved it or resave it if need be.
Here's the current flow
User opens Receive → Copies address → Shares it to receive crypto.
My proposed flow
User opens Receive → Sees a contextual backup reminder→ taps on 'back up now' if they've not saved it or 'not now' if they have → Continues copying the address.
That way the users are sure that they're safe.
I also have some ideas where a progressive, non-blocking reminder could be placed in the user flow and will gladly discuss upon request.
I attached a simple design of the current design and the proposed design (Can be perfected though) I came up to show how it should be.
2. This deals with the autolock feature and could be a potential bug.
I noticed two scenarios with my autolock on "immediately". So my app is expected to lock immediately I leave the app.
i, Whenever I leave the app and go to another app and I tried accessing it the app back, it locks immediately and that's the expected behaviour.
ii, Whenever I leave the app and go to my home page on my phone, minimize the app to open again. It's just there open without asking me to verify my password or fingerprint.
That shouldn't be the expected behaviour because whatever makes me leave the app,the lock should be triggered even if I don't open another app.
I can present a screen record on this showing my experience with @TrustWallet and another app that has this same feature.
And if this makes sense to @carson_trust, @gonair_tw, @garyIronBee or any team members, it wouldn't be a bad idea to join people making it work at the first wallet I used while getting onboarded to crypto.
I'm developing myself in spotting bugs before users find them and suggesting software improvement from users point of view and I'd love to offer that at @TrustWallet.
Would love to know what you think...
Today we set a new policy: all leads at @TrustWallet must build X profiles. There are 21 affiliates so far, ranging from marketing, business development, product, engineering, HR, and more.
For our beloved users, you get to learn firsthand how we shape the product, deliver code, develop marketing strategies, and form meaningful partnerships. All of that is dynamic, diverse, and personal.
For some of our leads who aren’t used to facing the public, this is very uncomfortable to be frank, but I think we have to do it. We might make mistakes along the way, but we’ll learn from user feedback over time and ultimately deliver products that better reflect the latest trends and user needs. Go-to-market isn’t just a task; it’s an hourly dose every time we open the X app and talk to people who care about our product.
If you're considering Trust, you'll have your own voice and grow your personal influence here. After all, we want to make Trust Wallet a platform for you to shine and ultimately serve our users better during your time here.
This isn’t an experiment; it’s just getting started.

i want to build a community of nigerians who are serious about getting remote jobs.
you don't need to stress over platforms that don’t accept nigerians or look for someone abroad to give you 5% or 10% of what you earn.
i’ll personally train you, share opportunities that are open to nigerians, and show you how to position yourself for them.
if you’re serious about working remotely, reply “REMOTE.”
let’s get to work. 👇
forget outlier.
forget mercor.
forget handshake.
testio has sent me 40+ testing invites.
you can get paid to test apps and websites, find bugs, and report them.
you don’t need to be a software developer to get started.
i’ll show you how to get started with testio.
comment “test” and i’ll share more. 👇

Replying to @sheldonbitmart
@sheldonbitmart @BitMartExchange please treat this as an URGENT withdrawal case.
My $1,511 USDT withdrawal has been stuck on BitMart since September 15, 2026 at 10:28:44.
The transaction was created, but it has not been processed or completed, and the funds have not returned to my account.
I have contacted support repeatedly, yet I’m only receiving automated responses without an actual resolution.
I was also unaware of the wind-down announcement at the time because I was away from social media following a robbery, and I did not receive the notification email I understand was sent to users.
I’m posting the screenshots and my support correspondence publicly because this needs proper attention.
@BitMartExchange, please escalate my case, process the withdrawal, and release my $1,511 USDT without further delay.

Here is the uncomfortable truth about most prediction systems throughout history, informal or formal, ancient or modern.
────୨ৎ────
They all eventually run into the exact same weak point, a single point of control that can bend the outcome when it becomes inconvenient.
My office pool had one guy holding the money.
Plenty of licensed prediction platforms have one company holding the rules.
Plenty of regulators have the power to simply shut a market down entirely the moment its questions become politically uncomfortable rather than financially risky.
That pattern repeats itself constantly, and most people never notice it until they personally get burned by it the way I did over something as small as a leave approval date.
So my actual hot take this week is this, the most underrated thing about POTS is not any individual market you can bet on.
It is the fact that no single person, company, or government sits in the position my coworker sat in that day, holding the outcome hostage to their own convenience.
Flow with me ➘
v1 proved the concept, but it also has some serious shortcomings.
So here’s what I’m changing for Rowve v2:
1. A real robot arm
→ reBot B601-RS
→ 2+ ft reach
→ 2.5 kg payload
The current arm can barely do useful work. This one should actually let the rover interact with plants and soil.
2. Modular tooling
v2 will start by testing a small soil auger for precision mechanical weeding.
Longer term, I want the same arm to swap between tools for weeding, planting, pruning, harvesting, etc.
3. A much better chassis
→ Custom build
→ 2 Saturn planetary motors, 1 per track
→ Larger 16T track sprockets
→ Several inches of ground clearance
Still small enough to fit between crop rows, but much harder to get stuck.
4. Built for autonomy
→ Raspberry Pi 5 onboard
→ RTK + vision for navigation
→ Cameras for plant/weed perception
→ Wireless link to heavier AI/vision compute nearby
Eventually, one powerful computer can provide shared compute to an entire fleet of inexpensive rovers.
The V2 CAD is almost finished.
I’m raising a small angel round now and hope to start ordering parts within the next couple weeks.
The goal: physical intelligence that can do precise, plant-by-plant work in the field. 🤖🌱
Robotics people: what am I missing?
