Let me make myself clear, whoever is in charge of Liverpool (HC/Manager) I will back him as long as he’s in charge. Why? Because i don't want my club to be like Man United and i definitely don't want to be like Man United fans.

I guess we can replace Seiwald with Altimira, but other than that I think I’m sticking with these options. Justin Janssen is someone I specifically want Iraola to develop (personal preference).
My recommendations for our midfield signings by profile & quality. • Lamine Camara/Arthur Avom • Alex Scott/Kévin Danois • Justin Janssen • Nicolas Seiwald Szoboszlai as a full-time RB, sell Macca & Grav next summer (depending on performance).

Since taking charge, Fabian Hürzeler has evolved Brighton's build-up structure, shifting players' progression responsibilities. Since the 2024/25 season, their central midfielders have increased their forward passes per 90 by 45.5%, pressured passes by 34.4%, and line-breaking passes by 13.6%. Meanwhile, their centre-backs are attempting 40.8% fewer line-breaking passes per 90. #BHAFC

🚨 Bradley Barcola on the Arsenal defeat: “I don’t think it has changed the goals for this season. We had the chances to score, even to win the match. “Often, when we’re in a game like this, we resort to long balls, but in my opinion, we should try to keep the ball on the ground more, because we have the players with the quality to do that. “We are not going to give up. We know that other teams will drop points. So it’s down to us to remain consistent until the end of the season.” 🔴🇫🇷 [@SkySportsPL] #LFC

I rewatched the Arsenal and I can’t believe with all the recruitment staff and analysts we have, we actually thought Kerkez is the long term solution for LB

Szoboszlai had the chance to pass to a teammate, but nahhh, he wanted to run with the ball. And this is someone playing in a double pivot. 😭😂😂 Thank God Mac Allister was there to cover him.

His ball carrying would be so useful down the flanks at RB genuine shades of Kyle Walker less thinking more running up & down
The difference between Trey Nyoni and Szoboszlai, well explained by this fella.

He still thinks he's a midfielder #lol
💬 𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦 - Dominik Szoboszlai on if Iraola can get the best out of him: “Yes, of course he can. My best position is hard to say because there are games where we have the ball more so I like to have the ball more as a six, getting the ball from Virgil and doing stuff from there.” “As a 10 I think I can also be dangerous, as an eight. Wherever he puts me I try to do my best.”

Really struggling with how people have watched Szoboszlai for over three years and think he’s a 10 and we’d get better if we played him there over Wirtz. We’ve got three ‘midfield’ positions and none of them are for him. Right back is an attacking issue at the minute however.

Virgil gave you the ball and 5 seconds later you started pressing

Szoboszlai has two choices, play RB or retire from football.
I knew we weren’t gonna win the moment Szoboszlai came on the pitch. That guy is absolutely dogshit useless

Nyoni is only midfielder with enough brain cells to control the game, only one with the ability to consistently make line breaking passes. I’d be disappointed if Szoboszlai goes back straight to starting XI instead of Trey.

If you're wondering why we lost control when Nyoni went off, watch how he slows the game down to keep Arsenal in their block. Then watch how he moves with the ball to keep the block working + find openings. Then notice how he passes in btl so it's not useless circulation.
