Eren didn’t simply erase Mikasa’s memories. Through the Founder and the Paths, he created a temporary memory of their life together in the cabin and made her experience it before his death. He wanted Mikasa to accept his death and move on instead of being trapped by him. The painful part? He loved her, but knew he had to let her go.

Bryan spent the entire night running from zombies, the infection, and everything Umbrella threw at him, desperately trying to survive and get the cure. Only for the story to end with him becoming the very thing he was running from. And the fact that his transformation is what leads to the destruction of the scientists and the last remaining cure makes it even more tragic. He didn’t just lose himself he became the reason everyone else lost their chance too. That ending was brutal.
The craziest part of Bryan’s transformation? He became the exact thing he was running from… then killed the strongest of them all.

Yes, and honestly, that could be a great direction for the sequel. If the T-Virus cure is lost and Raccoon City is destroyed, the story could follow an infected survivor who manages to escape the city before the quarantine is complete. The interesting part is that they wouldn’t even have to know they’re infected. They could make it to another city, reunite with family, go to a hospital, or simply try to return to normal life while unknowingly carrying the virus with them. Then the symptoms begin. By the time anyone realizes what’s happening, the infection could already be spreading through an entirely new population. It would make the destruction of Raccoon City feel less like a conclusion and more like the beginning of a much larger outbreak. Imagine the sequel opening with a survivor saying, “I made it out,” only for us to realize they were the thing that escaped.
If Raccoon City is destroyed after the T-virus cure is lost, could a Resident Evil sequel follow an infected survivor who escaped the city and unknowingly carries the outbreak somewhere new?

Why was Bryan’s mutation so different from everyone else’s? Was the T-Virus actually evolving inside him, or was Bryan becoming something entirely different?

Bryan ignoring Umbrella’s warning about the elevator might be one of the most important mistakes he made in Resident Evil. They specifically told him to take the stairs, which raises the question: what exactly were they trying to protect him from? Was the elevator already contaminated, was something infected waiting inside, or did Umbrella know that using it would expose Bryan to something they didn’t want him to encounter? Bryan probably saw it as a simple shortcut in the middle of the chaos. But Umbrella had information he didn’t. They knew what was happening inside that facility, while Bryan was just trying to survive. And the fact that he ignored the warning makes the whole situation even more interesting because was the elevator actually dangerous, or did Umbrella’s warning have a much bigger meaning that Bryan never understood?

They probably could have saved Bryan if they gave him the cure early enough. His transformation was still progressing, so the cure may have stopped the T-Virus before the mutation became irreversible. Umbrella choosing themselves over treating him is what made his fate worse.
If Umbrella’s scientists had actually given Bryan the T-virus cure before he fully transformed, would it have saved him or was he already too far gone for any cure to work?

It’s most likely an original B.O.W. created specifically for the 2026 movie. Bryan isn’t officially Nyx or William Birkin, even though the creature stalking him has Nyx-like features and his final mutation heavily resembles Birkin’s G-Virus transformations. The movie seems to be deliberately mixing recognizable Resident Evil body-horror elements into something new rather than adapting one specific game creature. So there probably isn’t a missing game name we’re overlooking Bryan’s monster is essentially its own B.O.W.

Maxine’s death is basically the ultimate Resident Evil lesson: being highly trained doesn’t matter if you ignore the obvious warning signs. She had the skill, experience, and confidence to handle the outbreak, but the moment she underestimated the creature and got too close, she made the exact mistake every player has made at least once: “Let me just get a closer look.” And Resident Evil immediately punished her for it.
How did Maxine, Umbrella’s most capable mercenary in Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil, end up dying within minutes of her introduction after making one mistake every Resident Evil player has made?

The Ancient One said removing an Infinity Stone from its timeline would leave reality vulnerable not that the universe would instantly collapse if the Stones were destroyed. Thanos destroyed the Stones after using them, so their purpose had already been fulfilled. The Avengers also restored the Stones to their respective timelines. So the bigger question is: if the Stones are truly essential to reality, why did Thanos destroying all six cause no immediate consequences?
The Ancient One said terrible things would happen if the Infinity Stones no longer existed. So why was the world still fine after Thanos wiped them out?

Resident Evil 2026 genuinely feels like the kind of movie that reminds you why survival horror works so well on the big screen. The atmosphere, the mutations, the chaos, and the constant feeling that something is about to go horribly wrong make the whole thing feel like you’re watching someone’s worst nightmare play out in real time. And the fact that Zach Cregger chose to tell a completely new story instead of simply retelling one of the games was definitely the right approach. Austin Abrams’ character is basically thrown into a situation he has absolutely no idea how to handle, which makes his survival even more entertaining. This movie may not be a direct adaptation of a specific game, but it absolutely understands the Resident Evil formula. 🧟‍♂️

The Umbrella scientists really got a taste of their own medicine. They spent the movie sacrificing people to save themselves, only to end up trapped with the very thing their experiments created. They finally had the cure… and still managed to get themselves killed by the man they were supposed to save. You couldn’t write a more fitting ending for Umbrella.
Did the Umbrella scientists in Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil actually get what was coming to them after repeatedly sacrificing others to save themselves?#ResidentEvil

That “Life” cereal detail feels way too deliberate to be completely random. Bryan eating “Life” right before heading into the chaos could be read as subtle foreshadowing, especially considering how much of the story revolves around infection, survival, and his struggle to stay alive. It could simply be a darkly ironic joke from the filmmakers, but if it was intentional, it’s a pretty clever little detail most people probably missed.
Was Bryan’s choice to eat “Life” cereal before reaching Raccoon City Hospital just a funny detail, or was it actually foreshadowing what was about to happen to him?

Not based on what we currently know. The Ten Rings haven’t been shown to be stronger than Mjolnir. The Rings are extremely powerful giving Wenwu enhanced strength, longevity, energy projection, shockwaves, and even allowing him to manipulate their movement remotely. Their alien origin and the signal they emit also suggest there’s still much more to their story. But Mjolnir has a much more established power set: it can channel Thor’s lightning, return to its wielder, enable flight, and is enchanted with the worthiness spell. It has also withstood attacks from extremely powerful beings.
Are the Ten Rings stronger than Mjolnir? We still know very little about them beyond a few details: Wenwu took them from an ancient tomb They were not made from any material found in this universe They are extremely old, possibly older than the Eternals They appear to be sending a signal to some unknown being

I know Thanos is a villain, but let’s be honest: he accomplished something most heroes couldn’t. Yes, he sacrificed half of all life, but if his plan prevented extinction and resource scarcity in the long run, he ultimately saved billions more lives than he took. His method was horrifying, but was his goal really as evil as people make it seem?

People seriously underrate Sentry to the point where they compare him to average tier characters. This is a man with insane physical strength, speed, durability, energy manipulation, regeneration, matter manipulation, and the Void. At some point, the Sentry downplay becomes ridiculous

Brian wasn’t automatically doomed the moment he got bitten. He actually had a real chance of staying human because the cure could still stop the infection if it was administered before it progressed too far. The problem was that by the time they had the cure and were able to use it, the infection had already advanced too much. So his transformation wasn’t inevitable from the bite itself they simply ran out of time to save him.
I just finished watching Resident evil and i have a question about the ending..Did Bryan ever have a real chance of staying human or was the cure falling inevitable the moment he got bitten? #ResidentEvil

Because the TVA wasn’t actually controlling every universe in the way it initially appeared to. The key distinction is between the Sacred Timeline and the multiverse: He Who Remains created the TVA after the Multiversal War and used it to maintain a controlled set of timelines the “Sacred Timeline.” The TVA’s job was to prune branches that could eventually produce another dangerous Kang variant, not necessarily to erase every alternate universe that already existed.
Why did Kang variants exist across so many universes if the TVA was supposedly controlling the timeline?
