"i'm not trying to cancel him"
"i don't want him in events or friends with anyone close to me" (all the top streamers)
so dishonest... easily solved with some communication. there's some power move happening here for sure
hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday.
1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me.
i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong.
2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened.
3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today.
as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well.
one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!

victims can be wrong, over-demanding, and sometimes outright abusive in the way they treat the person who wronged them. Atrioc has been the near-perfect archetype people should be following as a culprit. those who apologize and try to make amends deserve to re-enter normalcy in time. it's not up to the victim to decide the appropriate punishment, victims can and often are the worst judge of this
drawing the line of when a victim becomes the abuser is difficult, but you should be introspecting HARD if you look at Atrioc and don't see someone worthy of being allowed to move on after years. Pokimane has no right to pressure and ostracize him with this forever, frankly she should apologize to him for not handling this maturely
