Well after 4 & almost a half years. I was impacted due to a reduction in force from my position working with Cisco yesterday. I started this position after being unemployed for a year & a half. Now...

Interview coordinating/scheduling skills are underrated.

Some folks may remember the traumatic job search journey that I was on last year. Unfortunately the trauma lasted longer than I’d like. One of the main reasons why I’ve kept quiet about my current situation. Today it was like it happened all over again. Be kind to everyone.

So I’m scrolling through LinkedIn today & I see a post someone made about recently getting laid off from company X. I continue to scroll & I see someone just accepted an offer at company X for a similar role.

Are sales people taught to say “10x” in all their unsolicited messages? My LinkedIn inbox has “10x” of these messages.

I’m sick and tired of the toxic positivity. You got laid off, you don’t need to thank your employer for being laid off. Can we at least allow people to sit in their feelings for just a bit?

It’s been a tough few days for me mentally. I’m angry & exhausted. Glad at least one positive thing happened. Congrats to the @Avalanche

This was not the welcome back to NY that I wanted. (Appearances from @AOC & @GovKathyHochul included) This week we’ve seen guns glorified, trans people excluded, & now reproductive rights are regulated by state governments. NOT how I wanted to celebrate pride month. I’m angry.
A rejection from a role that I applied to 4 years ago received just yesterday. Just wow I have no words. 😮

Today was a good day. I hiked Hollywood hills & now I’m having a nice craft beer. I used to be nervous about not having permanent housing. Now I have come to enjoy this transient lifestyle. I’ve been to a lot of great places!! #selfcare
