List of players under 24 averaging 18+ PPG on 60%+ true shooting this season:
- Kyshawn George
That’s it.
When talking about Trae’s contract I really need people to actually look at the Wizards long term salary cap situation. There’s still plenty of room and plenty of flexibility. People talk like the team is in cap hell because of Trae and they just aren’t.
Was definitely an overpay, but it will be done when the Wizards young core are entering their prime years.
Unless they also extend AD still plenty of cap flexibility. An extension for AJ wouldn’t kick in until Trae’s contract is up.

Kyshawn George over the last 3 games:
33 PTS - 4 REB - 7 AST - 52% FG
25 PTS - 4 REB - 7 AST - 71% FG
22 PTS - 4 REB - 5 AST - 60% FG
I still believe in Alex Sarr. He’s regressing back to some bad habits we saw more of his rookie year, that he seemed to improve on in year 2. But I’d like to remind everyone he is still only 21 years old.
-Kyshawn is a star and top priority for the wizards this off season is locking him up long term
-wizards biggest problems are at least fixable, though doesn’t guarantee they’ll be fixed
-team pretty much as I expected. Fringe playoff team that will have ups and downs
Like the heart the wizards finally showed here, but need it for 4 quarters next time. And nothing you can do if Dort is gonna shoot better than prime Curry.

He essentially turned Bradley Beal's awful deal into Anthony Davis and Trae Young while also getting the team AJ Dybantsa.
That's at least 5 years of grace. Yall tripping.

Most raw talent the team has had in 40 years but go off.
People really forget just how bad things were when he took over.
Also he does have the team 4-4 despite 3 of the best players having never played together before, and guys still figuring each other out. It could be a lot worse of a start, just look at Utah.
I think scrutinizing Brian Keefe is perfectly fine but demanding he get fired right now is kind of insane. Whether you like it or not he’s the coach for this season, and there’s no point to firing him until after season is over.
Better answer than last night I guess. And he is right, team hasn’t really had a complete 4 quarter game all around yet this year. Not really surprising for a group still figuring out how to gel. We move.
Brian Keefe on rebounding: “We have been good within games — like even last night with one good quarter — but that’s not good enough, right? You have to do it for four quarters."
More on Keefe's honest assessment of the Wizards' rebounding struggles:

I try not to be a Keefe hater but this is a brutal answer. All 4 losses have largely been from the same problem of giving up way too many offensive rebounds. This nonchalant attitude is not it, he needs to light a fire and have zero tolerance for poor effort and hustle.
