#BHM highlights.
Meet Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the godmother of rock & roll. With the @ElvisMovie coming out I think it’s important to remember music history is black history.
Tharpe inspired artists like Johnny Cash, #ElvisMovie and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Gordon Parks. Do you know his work? Without it, image makers like myself wouldn’t have a lane to move in.
His legacy as an artist allowed us to see beauty where we had been told it didn’t exist before. But he didn’t stop at being the photo 🐐 he also launched the @GParksFound.

If you’re in nyc please pull up, my film will be shown in a group of 6 starting at 7pm tonight.

Do folks compliment you on your editing skills? Leave comments on your photos praising the tones or vibes in the image?
Instead of awkwardly commenting back, you should consider offering your presets to them at a price.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought to the end, through her cancer, with unwavering faith in our democracy and its ideals. That’s how we remember her. But she also left instructions for how she wanted her legacy to be honored. My statement: obama.medium.com/my-statemen…
