So refreshing 🐎🤠
Every 8 days an Electron rocket rolls off the production line thanks to our mission-obsessed team and advanced factories.
The Electron team is growing as we prepare to launch more rockets than ever before in 2027.
Role open across vehicle assembly, composites, GNC, propulsion, manufacturing engineering, software, and more. Those with automotive, aerospace, marine, aviation, and manufacturing experience are a great fit.
Come to New Zealand and Long Beach, CA to design, build, test, and launch rockets. Relocation support available.

It’s a beautiful day to set sail with the next pieces of Neutron flight hardware to Launch Complex 3.
Earlier today we sent Neutron’s Stage 2 and Thrust Module out of the Neutron Factory and onto a barge for transport through Chesapeake Bay to Wallops Island in Virginia.
Once it arrives, the Thrust Module will go straight onto the launch mount at LC-3 for check outs and the beginning of wider systems demonstrations including integrated fluids tests and module-to-launch-mount interface checkouts. With no strongback on the launch mount by design, Neutron’s Thrust Module is the rocket’s only physical interface to the launch pad, which this upcoming test campaign enables us to test early before the entire vehicle comes together.

Roll out solar arrays will be installed during next week's spacewalk. You can see two of them folded and ready to be installed and you can also see how they look when they are installed (look in front of the big ones - the new ones are smaller and slightly tilted).

Less-risk lens: established firms with real revenue in the same themes (quantum, space, nuclear, AI infra, gene editing). Not pure-play pre-revenue. Not financial advice.

$IRDM / $RKLB: A new federal filing shows the U.S. Navy added funding in July to its sole-source research contract with Iridium.
The contract is with Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, the Navy's weapons and combat systems lab. It covers experimental defense R&D on Iridium satellite communications, plus satellite and hardware support. The Navy chose Iridium as the only company that could do the work, with no bidding.
The contract has been extended through May 2027, with an option to run into 2028.
Imagining the lorry flying out the jaws of this things is still pretty insane to me....

Iridiums' Greg Pelton “Once we get customers, we never lose them”
My take: Rocket Lab/Iridum want to dominate in IoT and their true global unified coverage and L-band is their USP.
The future of IoT is going to expand beyond sensor type devices and includes Drones, Robots, Machinery, Vehicles etc. These devices will have a TT&C equivalent level connection as well as a high-bandwidth connection. Think of a Yacht that's equipped with both Starlink for high speed internet and Iridium for emergency comms, PNT, etc. Apply the same to Drones, Robots, Autonomous vehicles, etc. Rocket Lab will own this high reliability, mission critical layer by both selling both the chips and providing the service.
This is the same approach as seen in the Maxwell demo. Rocket Lab is securing their place at the infrastructure layer. You don't need a single big payload when you're built in at the device level. Small, consistent revenue, across a huge user base.

How can low cost uncrewed systems access assured PNT?
The only LEO-based alternative positioning, navigation, and timing service available today, Iridium PNT provides a trusted layer of resilience for #autonomous vehicles on land, at sea, or in the air → bit.ly/4i46F9q
Lots to learn. Lock in 👇
