After years of investment into the academy, the rewards are starting to show.
You know Leo Shahar and Sean Neave, but there is SO much more talent to discover.
From a CM with 60+G/A to the best GK talent in the country, here are 11 #NUFC talents YOU need to know...
a thread 🧵
Managed to watch around 20 minutes of the game since I was playing, and as soon as it went 2-0 I had ZERO faith #NUFC would do anything tonight.
Jaissle is on INCREDIBLY thin ice, I don't care that he hasn't been here for long. Video tomorrow on my YT, let me know your thoughts on the performance in the comments and I'll try include some of your insight/react to your takes ⤵️

I don't mind a transition season if Bamba, Steur etc were starting or getting serious minutes and we were coaching them through the season.
But I'm seeing Joelinton and Jacob Murphy starting games still.

It’s funny this Man City stuff. They’re painted as the villains of the league and have done unimaginable damage to English football. But a few years ago a certain 6 clubs tried to join the Super League and ruin domestic football as we know it.

Antonio Cordero and Alex Murphy continue to shine at Cádiz and Kaiserslautern 💫
ALT Antonio Cordero has been in fine form for Spanish side Cádiz this term, and made it four goals for the campaign by helping his side come from behind to beat AD Ceuta on Sunday. Antonio Cordero is pictured.
ALT Three clean sheets in Alex Murphy's last three league starts for Kaiserslautern, the most recent of those in last weekend's 1-0 triumph away at Nuremberg. Alex Murphy pictured.

🚨 SCREAMER ALERT: #NUFC's Seung-Soo Park has just equalized against Sunderland with an absolute worldie. He cuts inside on the edge of the box and has hit it TOP BINS where no keeper in world-football is stopping it. Ridiculous goal from the South Korean.

🚨 GOAL FOR #NUFC U21 AGAINST SUNDERLAND - Kyran Thompson has been below his usual level so far tonight but my god that was pure quality. The RW carries the ball far and then feints to shoot with his left, only to smash it into the roof of the net from close with his right 👏

🚨 #NUFC U21s resume their PL2 campaign with a massive Tyne-Wear derby clash against Sunderland this evening. ⚔️
It’s a 7pm KO under the St. James’ Park lights - so why not come out, brave the cold and support the boys! 🏁
As always, stay tuned for team news & regular updates…

Can't underestimate the importance of this Dedic underlap for our first goal. That run grabs Disasi's attention, leaving a 3v2 at the back. The lack of mobility in Palace's midfield is a big issue and runs beyond can easily exploit that.
The fact that this happened so early in the second half makes me think it was spoken about at HT. #NUFC
Palace game on Sunday is a big one, and honestly, if we can't beat these, it's a big worry. The lack of mobility in their midfield is something we could easily exploit.
Runs beyond, pull the defence deep and create more space between the lines. Osula for Wissa would make a lot of sense. #NUFC
The ONLY thing Jacob Murphy is good at, he’s finally showed he can do. Fair play, unreal ball and very lively striker play from Osula to put #NUFC in the lead.
#NUFC are shockingly bad offensively by the way. Absolutely ZERO threat from us, Palace know it too. So easy to nullify our attackers, no patterns of play on show, just cannot see us scoring a goal.

We are genuinely toothless on the ball.
I have no hope whenever the ball is in the opposition half.
This #NUFC XI from Jaissle is a BIG statement. I don't understand some of the decisions, and frankly am perplexed by others. BUT if it works, I'll praise him for the calls he's made. If we lose however, I think he'll be VERY close to the sack. Palace are BAD, and we must win.
