There are efficiency improvements coming that will allow for a 40kWh Cybercab pack. We will make this in liquid silver, so the colors are not too monotonous.
The biggest thing most people fail to understand is that there are a very limited number of smart, dedicated people! They can only do so many things.
If we have to maintain a complex production line, supply chain and allocate engineering for Cybertruck, we can’t use those people or factory space and machinery for scaling Cybercab, which is the vehicle that will PROFOUNDLY transform the world of terrestrial transport!

SpaceX and Tesla have prospered in Texas, because we were not constantly operating under an oppressive and extractive state government.
And I need to be close to the factories, so that I can walk the floor in person. That’s why the first major SpaceX factory was in LA and first major Tesla factory was in SF Bay Area.
As California became increasingly difficult, due to extreme taxes and overregulation, we moved our major domestic expansions and HQ to Texas.
I hit my usage limit with @bot and was looking for a work-around to access the work I was doing on my Grok Bot’s computer. When I opened the VM I was surprised to see it was still running and allowing me to utilize it’s hardware.
Perhaps having this hardware spinning fans 24/7 isn’t great for cost to run. Maybe we should be looking into this for energy optimization. @elonmusk @SpaceXSI
A more proactive low-energy usage would help? Or maybe I’m barking up a tree that has already been climbed.
Man Grok Bot usage this week is tough. All my usage is getting spent using rather simple inquiries. Hoping they find a nice balance with request to token/ratio.
Compute is expensive, either I gotta just run my own local AI computer or @SpaceX has to find a way to make it so dirt cheap that saying thank you to AI won’t mean I harnessed the power of the sun to do so.
All jokes aside, this is a tough egg to crack. Such a valuable tool like Grok Bot should have higher limit plans as well.
