A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

I think he should have promised a zero percent tax increase when he’s actually planning to raise it by 1.5%.
Did @AlvinTedjo just critique his own platform?
Hours before polls open, the #Mississauga mayoral candidate drops his final campaign video...
clearly his team was hoping for a viral “not all heroes wear capes” moment. Then comes the line, “And sometimes those big promises ask us to give up more than we can afford”.
Big promises say like a seniors tax "freeze" that's actually a deferral w/ interest downloaded to young homeowners? #ONpoli
