Congratulations to Governor-elect @KeishaforGA on making history tonight. Georgians spoke clearly for a brighter direction for our state. Thank you to every organizer and volunteer who made sure those voices were heard. Let’s get to work.

Minnesota, thank you for welcoming my family with open arms when we arrived here as refugees.
You have stood by me every step of the way. I will never take that for granted. I will always have your back ❤️

7 months ago, AOC and I introduced an AI data center moratorium.
Last night, 43 of 44 communities voted for one locally.
Americans don’t want Big Tech oligarchs wrecking the environment, gutting jobs and threatening humanity’s future.

I was stuck for a long time. Looking back, it wasn't just that I lacked direction. I lacked the courage to change. I knew some things weren't working, but I kept hoping life and the markets would somehow figure themselves out on their own; they didn't.
For years, I stayed comfortable in what was familiar, even when familiar wasn't taking me anywhere worth going. It wasn't until I truly bottomed out that I found the strength to do something about it. I stopped making excuses, stopped waiting for the perfect moment, and finally took a leap of faith.
The interesting thing is that nothing changed overnight. What changed was my mindset. Better habits led to better decisions. Better decisions led to better outcomes. Over time, those improvements compounded in my life, my finances, my relationships, and in the stock market.
Sometimes I wish I had found that courage sooner. I probably would have avoided years of wandering, distractions, and self-inflicted mistakes. But then I look at where I am today and realize those lessons became part of my journey.
I like where I am now. What I've learned is that courage isn't the absence of fear. It's being willing to move forward despite it. Once I finally did, everything started compounding in the right direction.
“Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently.” — Dr. Maya Angelou
This #WisdomWednesday, we reflect on the courage to speak truth, stand against injustice, and remain true to our convictions. 🌿💛

It's Bernie's Moment: Legacy and the Long Game
Years ago when @SenSanders came to the @CalNurses and asked if he made a decision to run for President, would we support him. It was the beginning. We did. Heart and Soul.
We swept across the country and we lost, twice actually. But along the way we educated, agitated, organized, gained the most principled allies, incredible people, like @AbdulElSayed.
And last night - we won!
Thank you Bernie and Jane and thank you everyone who worked for so many years to inspire the #PeopleforBernie to rise up and take control of our country.
And thank you to the pioneers of this time, the nurses & staff of @CalNurses & @NationalNurses who gave it all and 'believed'....

Ben Cohen (yes, from Ben & Jerry’s) just unveiled a towering sculpture in DC showing what $100 billion in nuclear weapons spending looks like. That’s what the U.S. blows every year, half of it on building new nukes while people here can’t afford rent, insulin, or clean water.
This is the launch of Up In Arms, a 4-year campaign to expose the insanity of prioritizing mass death over human need.
Because if our government can build a new generation of nukes but not confront climate change, it’s not national defense.

Hear me out, these eggs are bombs. The US spends $100 billion dollars EVERY YEAR on nukes. If we spent half as much, we could end lead poisoning in the US, make childcare affordable and fund public schools. AND KILL A LOT FEWER PEOPLE. #UpInArms

CVS sees the writing on the wall: Americans want to break up the giant corporations dominating health care.
But this CEO is not fooling us—this lets CVS continue to own a massive conglomerate and rip people off.
We must break up these monopolies and put patients over profits.
The CEO of CVS says @SenWarren and @HawleyMO's Break Up Big Medicine bill is one of the reasons the company is breaking up! 👏

CNN reacts to the news that the Democrats will take control of the House. Van Jones: "This is the American people repudiating the abuse of power, the out of touch, the men's butts, all this stuff that Donald Trump was doing." Scott Jennings thinks Trump is a "lame duck." #Elections2026 #Midterms2026 #BlueWave

The Democrats will control both houses of Congress in January, after flipping at least seven Senate seats and dozens more in the House.
Voters across the country rejected Republican candidates, even in the longtime, reliably red states. Multiple races have yet to be called.
@salvantocbs breaks down how some of the close races panned out: “This is what a wave looks like.”
