Resharing photos from Thurs 13 Nov rededication of the war memorial to men who served in Royal Naval Division which is located on outside edge of @biztradegovuk's Old Admiralty Building. Amongst those who sacrificed their lives were several Board of Trade men. #Lestweforget 🎖️
Honoured to remember the sailors and marines of the Royal Naval Division – a unique force that brought naval traditions to the battlefields of WW1. Their immense and often overlooked sacrifice, with over 40% of RN/RM casualties occurring on land, must never be forgotten.
