Special denaturalization item in the thread of (presumably) illegal aliens whose crimes I've covered for @TriangleTrumpet This Liberian was denaturalized and sent home after it was revealed he had been molesting a child for nearly a decade when he became a citizen in 2021

I couldn't come up with a story this ghetto if I tried, even though it's out of Johnston Country instead of Durham or Raleigh Police responded to a call at Cobbler's Station Apartments in Clayton over a fight Search warrant affidavits say that a couple had walked over to "cause a disturbance" at one of the apartments because a 12-year-old had allegedly slapped their son The residents/occupants/hangouters from the apartment come out, and weapons are brandished Ty'ryn Washington (who was out on pretrial release for another gun-related crime) goes back inside the apartment, retrieves a tan Glock, points it at the head of a 12-year-old, and pulls the trigger (It's not specified if it's the same 12-year-old) Even though police are on scene immediately after, the gun used in the killing disappears, with investigators believing it was sold/disposed of via Instagram messenger Johnston County DA says that Washington thought the gun was unloaded when he pulled the trigger, and allowed him to plead down from second degree murder to voluntary manslaughter This drastic reduction resulted in Washington only receiving a sentence of 72-99 months, which is in the aggravated range for voluntary manslaughter (Washington received an aggravated sentence due to being out on pretrial release when he shot and killed the child)
Ty'ryn Washington has been sentenced to 72-99 months for shooting a 12-year-old in the head at a Clayton apartment last year, while out on pretrial release on gun-releated charges

If I was an unethical landlord trying to illegally rent out an unsafe commercially-zoned building as housing for bottom-of-the-barrel rates, I would probably also seek out spanish-speaking illegal immigrants as the type of tenant least likely to rat me out to the authorities Turning a blind eye to illegal immigration creates a number of perverse incentives which give a competitive advantage to the most evil actors in our markets

A Durham firefighter lost his life in the line of duty while saving the tenants living at a building that was zoned commercial Guess what type of residents were attracted to this dubious living situation with janky electrical? "All of the people staying here speak Spanish" "Rent is low, only about $500 a month...for all the people who stay here, which appear to be undocumented" Credit to @wral and @WRALShaun for investigating

I can't imagine that a library security guard could get away with openly being "very excited" to kick out any sort of left-wing activist But when it comes to parents upset that the Wake County is grooming 11-year-olds to be trans, gay, or an "ally," the guard's attitude is merely treated as overenthusiasm for a righteous cause

Revolutionary Communists of America reportedly recruiting at UNC-Chapel Hill:
Spotted...at UNC Chapel Hill. 😒 Damn Communists. Sent to me today by my fave College Republican. She says Chapel Hill is utterly INFESTED and I believe it. North Carolina's Atty General in the 1780's, Justice Alfred Moore, is rolling in his grave. As is Uncle Edward. Upon returning from a decade-long stint in Paris following WWI, my great-great-uncle studied art in NYC before returning home to NC. He purchased historic Moorefields on May 14, 1949. A notable artist and UNC French professor, Uncle Edward originally bought Moorefields for the sole purpose of building an art studio. He was a sculptor + painter. But, he decided to extensively restore it, to include designing and adding French-style formal gardens. The gardens in which Mother sat for hours, days on end, while he did a bronze bust of her head. One of my most prized possessions. In fact, Uncle Edward was awarded the prestigious Cannon Cup by the North Carolina Society for the Preservation of Antiquities in 1960 and, in 1972, the year I was born, Moorefields was added to the National Register of Historic Places. When doing some research, he discovered we were related to the Moores via a marriage through the Savage line. His paternal great aunts, Elizabeth and Ellen Savage of Wilmington, NC were both married to Alfred Moore Waddell. When Elizabeth passed away, Waddell married Ellen. Keep it in the family, I guess! Lawd, please don't let the damn local activists know. Whatever. The Savages were abolitionists. I win. 😆☝🏽 (Alfred Moore Waddell was the great-grandson of Justice Alfred Moore.) Justice Moore chose Hillsborough for its important role in early American government. As one of the largest towns in central North Carolina and a key seat for state gov affairs in the piedmont, the location was aces. As North Carolina’s Attorney General during the 1780s, Moore’s proximity to Hillsborough and its burgeoning legal scene made for conducting business sans migraine. "As I look back and recall the happy days spent on that old place, they seem to be seperated from me by a hundred years and are wrapped in a tender mist of indescribable memories." - Alfred Moore Waddell, 1908 With love from NC, Uncle Edward. Props for preserving Moorefields. (Grandad insisted my initials be NC for, you guessed it, the Old North State.) Road trip anyone? Link below to a most EXCELLENT article from Adele Lassiter/American Nomad Traveler. #LoveLoyaltyAndFaith #NCFirst #FightFightFight #Moorefields @WoodyWhite5 @JohnHinnant @WhatleyNC @danescalise @ReaganFaul21580 @LukeWaddell (the OTHER Waddell! 😉)

Stories like the LGBTQ agenda pushed on children by the Wake County libraries are exactly why I started the @TriangleTrumpet, because I know local MSM isn't interested in investigating What I found was a sexually explicit book recommended to sixth graders, and a security guard giddy about the possibility of kicking out any patrons who objected Full story: thisweekinthetriangle.com/p/…

North Carolina 🚨 Parents, are you okay with this? Wake County Public Libraries used our tax dollars to make a “Queer Challenge” bingo labeled Grades 6–12. That includes 11-year-olds. They pointed those kids at All Boys Aren’t Blue. That book describes graphic sex. It also describes a child being sexually abused by an older male cousin. They pushed activism books too. Sen. John Kennedy read an explicit sex passage from this book on the Senate floor in 2023. foxnews.com/media/sen-kenned… A parent said her friend’s 11-year-old got this at a Raleigh library. County staff admitted they made it. When people complained, they handed out talking points. This is not a private bookstore. This is our money. These are our children. thisweekinthetriangle.com/p/…

Let's say you want more "safeguards" for Flock cameras in North Carolina Is it an effective argument to claim that you have personally used this data in an intrusive way (which does not appear to be authorized under the current NC statutes)?
Democrat challenger Evonne Hopkins claimed to have "literally caught people cheating on their spouses" using Flock-style cameras Was this statement at a candidate forum for House District 35 in northern Wake Co. evidence of insufficient safeguards, or a hypocritical admission?
