I’m so confused why #Guardsball fans are angry Tanner Bibee didn’t pitch in this series. Everyone screamed all year about how bad he was, and they were right.
He was VERY bad in September, with a 7.36 ERA. Then he gave up 2 runs in 0.1 innings in ALDS Gm 4.
He was on the roster for one reason: to eat innings if they were down big.

Absolutely criminal Cleveland’s best starter only pitched 5.0 innings in this entire 6 game ALCS
I really like Vogt a lot and I understand he probably feels similarly, but man I feel like you just cannot have your best starter in the dugout for 5/6 of your ALCS games. I think he should’ve went today at minimum.
