There truly is such a worse problem of ACTUAL bot accounts on tik tok. That are typically directed to Psy-op you into thinking hundreds of thousands of people are loving ai slop music on there
Blame the medium. It’s been the most effective music marketing strategy for a while now, other than just telling the artist to post on socials. Tik tok can drive infinitely more streams than any DSP could for any emerging artist. And we’re all just playing the same algorithm game
The Brooklyn band Geese was labeled an “industry plant” by those who questioned its sudden ubiquity. Maybe it was. wired.com/story/geese-chaoti…
Geese was obviously doing a million other things aside from an active chaotic good campaign. No one who actually knows anything would call them an “industry plant”. There is no such thing as an industry plant in 2026 anyway.

I know it’s not cool or classy to speak like this but i’m not gonna candy coat the future - it is what it is . sorry for bad new’s my purist . there will always need a human mind and touch because ai will never suffer from bipolar disorder and autism like me and other creative people 🤪
It was probably at 95% of all plays last year when Velvet Sundown first hit viral charts. Bots have been running these streams up and fooling plenty of people since the start of this all…
