We need a "Retroactive Thinking Effort Review" for normies. I want to trust I'll get the best answer so would never choose "be less smart." Ergo, I use 'xhigh' for almost everything. Chat should prompt me and say "this task didn't need to be xhigh, here's an example the output on medium vs xhigh" so I can review and be like "Oh, I ca see how lower intelligence would have sufficed here." This would help us non-power users burning through our usage then complaining. @JustinBleuel @thsottiaux @ajambrosino

Weird bug on the ChatGPT macOS app. After an initial turn, the prompt box disappears. @JustinBleuel @thsottiaux You can get back to it by clicking another chat then clicking back, but it's annoying.

Hey Codex, remote use for iPhone is pretty buggy at the moment. It shows “Awaiting approval” but clicking into the thread never progresses past this state.

Letting Codex/ChatGPT have 'full access' may be dangerous, but it's also quite magical. I fought this behavior without understanding the cause for YEARS.

.@thsottiaux @ajambrosino This is annoying. Started something on "ChatGPT Work" from my iPhone" it was trying to launch a browser to do what I asked, couldn't see it, tried to continue at home, now _that_ thread can't access Safari via computer use because it's a cloud thread.

.@thsottiaux @ajambrosino This is a bit of a sad 'gotcha.' Task was happily trying to complete even though I'd run out of usage, but because the model was 'unavailable' task paused, meaning the completion broke.

.@thsottiaux @ajambrosino I don’t like how I’ve lost the ability to have “regular” ChatGPT look at a file in VS Code with the old “work with apps.” I don’t want to be in a repo. I don’t want to burn my codex usage. I just want another set of eyes on this simple script.

There should be a Codex toggle where if I hit the 5 hr limit I can tell it to clock watch and resume once the limit resets. I’ve noticed folks saying it just ploughs on regardless but if it stops to ask for something it will realise ‘it’s out of msgs’ and stop. @sama @thsottiaux

My favorite part of Codex Thursday is I'm actually busy tomorrow so won't be smashing the refresh button to see when updates are announced!
