Iran’s missile and drone attacks against the UAE are unacceptable and must stop. They clearly violate sovereignty and international law.
I stand in full solidarity with @MohamedBinZayed and the people of the UAE. Diplomacy and negotiations are the only path to lasting peace.

Today, I spoke with His Highness Sheikh @MohamedBinZayed.
I offered my deepest condolences on the casualties and destruction the UAE and its people have suffered under Iran’s strikes.
Finland condemns Iran’s unjustifiable and indiscriminate strikes to UAE and the whole region. We stand with our friends.
We discussed also the situation of the Finnish nationals in the UAE. Our authorities are coordinating closely.

The situation in the Middle East continues to spiral.
Finland condemns Iran’s unjustifiable and indiscriminate strikes on the countries in the region. Even those who were working towards a diplomatic solution are now being targeted.
The strikes must stop. Civilian lives must be protected across the region.
