➡️ NED IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS –He is an adult cat who enjoys pets but is suffering from diabetes mellitus and is not eating in shelter. He needs short term care in a veterinary clinic to regulate his insulin and then out-patient management in a quiet home. Behaviorally, Ned is curious, leans in for pets, will rollover, and remains calm when picked up. NOT EATING IS A DEATH SENTENCE IN THE SHELTER. This evaluation/diagnosis means that NED will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
A volunteer writes: Ned is a handsome charcoal and silver semi long haired gent with golden eyes surrendered to us as his family could not afford his care anymore. Indeed, gorgeous Ned has diabetes mellitus(DM) on Insulin for the last seven months. He comes with lovely comments: quiet, friendly, lovable, playful, enjoys brushing...just a bit shy with new situations..Ned was a little weary in his first few days at the care center but as he is a smart and intuitive kitty, he revealed himself to be a sweet patient and a lovely pet to spend time with. A bonus, he is sooo beautiful and petting his smokey coat feels so soft to the touch....Ned is already neutered and aced his behavior evaluation. Ned is right now being evaluated and treated at the Manhattan Care Center for his DM. We are hoping that his condition will soon be well-controled, allowing Ned to go to his new home. He is a great cat who so deserves your attention and a great home! What my friends at ACC say about me: I lived with children in my previous home. I have lived with cats in my previous home. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

Od 16 dni nikt nie pomógł tym czterem maleństwom. A one wciąż potrzebują jedzenia, leków i troski. Nie proszą o wiele. Tylko o szansę, by wyzdrowieć, dorosnąć i znaleźć kochające domy. Pomóżcie im!

These little souls have seen more suffering than any animal should ever have to endure. They survived fear, destruction, and nights of terror in Gaza. All they have now is a small shelter, and someone trying with all his heart to keep them alive.

Tomorrow, I will go to our food supplier and negotiate to secure enough food for an entire month for the cats and dogs. I want to fill their bowls again and give them one month without the fear of running out of food.

Ja wiem, że jest środek nocy ale w końcu złapałam chwilę opowiedzieć co u Tosi. Otóż w połowie października Tosia zaczęła mi robić problemy z jedzeniem. Na dodatek poczułam że jej śmierdzi z pysia więc zaglądnęłam a tam całe dziąsła czerwone. No i się zaczął maraton od lecznicy do lecznicy bo z wierzchu korony zębów wyglądały ok, ale ewidentnie coś się działo, skończyłyśmy u stomatologa. Po drodze były badania, w tym echo serca a ostatecznie okazało się, że Tosia miała resrobcje korzeni i tym sposobem straciła prawie wszystkie zęby. Zostały dwa kły na górze, także jak coś jako kasownik albo dziurkacz Tosia może dorabiać 🫣 Żeby było ciekawiej w tym samym czasie rozsypał się mój ząb, jedyny leczony kanałowo i dentystka cudotwórca mi go ratowała na kilku wizytach... Nie wiem jak to nazwać - solidarność zębowa? W każdym razie bilans października to prawie 4 koła w plecy ale ostatecznie wszyscy zdrowi i bez bólu. O pomoc dla Tosi nie proszę, jakoś sobie dałyśmy radę finansowo, natomiast bardzo proszę o wsparcie podopiecznych @F_FELINEUS z których 5 jest u mnie na tymczasie, a aktualnie grosiki na start zbierają Chilli i Coco. Dodatkowo Fundacja bierze udział w konkursie a żeby na nich zagłosować wystarczy 1 zł (link do konkursu przypięty u nich na profilu)
