The idea that immigrants should get welfare services is absolutely insane. I say this as an immigrant (now citizen) who had to promise not to use any welfare—and who absolutely, unequivocally should have been expected to do that.

As a Dane and a father, I find it unacceptable that repeated violent behavior and personal attacks did not lead to decisive action. Those responsible for protecting the public should explain why this individual was not removed from the country or otherwise prevented from causing further harm. May the Swedish victim rest in peace.

BREAKING: More info has been released about the killing of the Swedish football support and off-duty policeman Christian Zedig who was attacked by an African migrant while watching Norway-Ivory Coast at a fan zone in Copenhagen. The African migrant was: - Charged with rape in 2013 - Sentenced to 7 years for attempted murder in 2017 - Charged with assault in April 2026 Today’s court hearing also revealed that Christian is being prepared for organ donation and that security guards had detained several of the African attackers but that they had been let go minutes later. Why do we let violent migrants remain in our countries? Why isn’t every foreign criminal deported?

I have a piece @TheArgumentMag on why the US is so much better at immigration than Europe. As someone who's lived in and studied both, I've been thinking about it a lot. Anyone who opines on migration on either side would benefit from acknowledging the complete US superiority.

The Sheriff confirmed armed security confronted the shooter immediately. Schools, synagogues, and other vulnerable locations should have trained armed guards. When seconds matter, you can’t wait for police: immediate response saves lives.
