You know it’s bad when they’re begging Battlehawks fans to show up 😬

Mistake by UFL & @RepoleStable to not let these Vets play and weird to preach transparency while gate keeping the why behind it. Vets put butts in seats and help mold the foundation of the fanbase. If they aren’t good enough to play they simply will be cut. Please address this!

.@TheUFL is blacklisting some of their best players.
They couldn’t get a work visa for @ElgersmaTaylor even though he was signed by Birmingham in early January.
What’s really going on?

What’s the first part: the player DECIDED the game. HE committed the penalty. It’s different than a blown call. Both penalties were bad plays by the players.
The game is absolutely for the fans, but this is also a business in America where you can’t make a workplace environment that knowingly puts employees in danger. That’s a big reason why the rule is a shootout! It’s a compromise of fast, fair, great regulation game. It’s not the best overtime but it’s one we can predict how long it will likely go. When we came up with the rules we HAD to make sure the game was not more dangerous than a typical professional football game, which is why OT is shortened.
We also had to make sure the window was in 3 hours. We were likely to be booted to another show if we did not hit our 3 hour window. If that has changed go for the change!
The fairest OT idea came from coach Harbaugh and it was just play a 5th quarter. Don’t stop the game and do a coin toss, do sudden death from that point. It’s fair, likely fast, but it ruins a 4th quarter 2 minute drill in a tie game. You would rather hold onto the ball and get to 0:00 then actually go and score.
But to the original point, the players committed penalties! These aren’t blown calls. That’s the problem I am seeing, fans are used to blown calls and saying “but the refs decided it”. No both plays the db attacked the WR which led to them getting flagged.
You also notice how the play takes place at the 5, that’s a 30% chance to score, ITS HARD! That’s why the rules are more restrictive for the defense. Also if you commit a live ball penalty at all on offense you lose the try!

The rule is good, if you do single play possessions for OT you have to make it so teams aren’t influenced to always commit a penalty. Rewarding the ball to the 1 is not enough.
Because a fan base is upset don’t change the rule. Analyze it and think about it
Fans don’t like the rule.
I don’t like it either.
I hear you guys.
The rule has been in place for 3 years to prevent defenses from repeatedly committing penalties to stop a score and to protect players from injuries after 3+ hours of play.
It was a great game. Intense, action-packed, and an incredible, loud Louisville crowd.
We owe our fans better.

You and the Panthers deserved the chance to bounce back and play for a title, what the UFL aviators got going on right now is embarrassing man 💔
Because I can't enjoy alt football without a Discord server, I created one for the #CoFL.
Come join and hang out. With any luck, maybe I can convince some league staff to join. 👀

Spring football at this level as a concept will never generate the fan interest or legitimacy needed to prosper if they continue to insist on resetting to this degree. @TheUFL #UFL

You have got to be kidding me.
There is no one less qualified than AJ McCryin.
What an absolute joke @RepoleStable has turned @TheUFL into…
This may actually be happening...
@abc3340 reports that former #Battlehawks QB & National Champion at Alabama, A.J. McCarron, exited the lieutenant governor race to return to football.
AJ could return as Birmingham's next Head Coach, but the door is still open at QB, too. #UFL
