@UGATrack stars Adaejah Hodge and Jonathan Simms have signed NIL deals with Nike, joining the brand’s impressive NCAA roster.
Hodge’s redshirt freshman season reset the NCAA record books, establishing new all-time records in the 100m (10.63) and 200m (21.68). Those times place her 5th and 8th in world history, respectively. Hodge swept the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor 200m titles, while finishing runner-up in the 60m and 100m.
Simms earned first-team All-American nods in both the Indoor and Outdoor 400m, becoming the 5th-fastest man in collegiate history in both races. The freshman also recorded a 42.99 split to anchor the Bulldogs’ 4x400m win, one of the few sub-43 clockings in world history.
