This moment from Joe Davis deserves more recognition. In the biggest swing in Brewers history he paid tribute to Bob Uecker on Cooper Pratt’s home run. “Get up…get up…get outta here…gone!" was a fantastic tribute.

Bob Chesney shutting down the rumors of another school “poaching” him. This man is in paradise and you can tell. #UCLA

The MLB owners have done a frustratingly effective job at framing a salary cap as the only viable solution to “competitive balance” As a reminder, the players should not have to limit their earnings for a problem that a group of 30 billionaires created
Speaking to media at the World Series about an expected MLB lockout, MLBPA executive director Bruce Meyer said “none of this has to be happening.” Meyer said MLB’s push for a salary cap is about increasing franchise values and capping costs, not competitive balance.

UCLA has the best tailgating scene in college football. Absolute perfection. Go Bruins. 7-0.

The fact that TED KNIGHT genuinely hated RODNEY DANGERFIELD makes this scene even funnier. CADDYSHACK (1980)

On this day in #Dodgers history: October 25, 1981 Pedro Guerrero and Steve Yeager hit back-to-back home runs off Ron Guidry to give the Dodgers a 2-1 victory over the Yankees in Game 5 of the World Series. LA was now one win away from a championship. (🎥:@MLB)

Listen to Zack. As we get closer to the big decision dates, the brinksmanship will ramp up…more doom, more gloom. Name calling and finger pointing will happen. Blame will be assigned… It’s all about pressure. The same sides will walk out post deal and go back to being friends and associates. Everyone recognizes that baseball is most profitable when it’s played. The financial hit for cancelling games is heavy. The contempt held is even more expensive.
Don't get wrapped up in the doom and gloom put out there. A lockout is a pressure tactic, used before. Of course they aren't going to agree to anything before implementing it. I know how these negotiations work from the inside. Both sides want/need baseball played in 2027!

You and a friend decide to split a pizza. There are eight slices. You each get four. That's not MLB's "50/50" revenue split. MLB's proposing they just get to call some of the slices "non-pizza" and only *then* split the pizza. So they get 5 or 6 slices and you get 2 or 3.

Did MLB create an army of bots with Pirates profile pics to push the salary cap narrative on this app?
