ii. Ask the school why a girl stopped attending. Absence is often the wedding announcement.
iii. Ask your state Ministry of Women Affairs whether the Child Rights Act is domesticated, gazetted, and used. A law in a file has never stopped an introduction.
iv. Stop asking survivors to describe the cutting for engagement. Ask institutions why FGM convictions are almost nonexistent.
V. Teach the boys in your house two sentences. Her body is not your qualification. A classmate is not a wife.
FGM decides her body before she can speak. Child and forced marriage decide her future before she can leave. Both are optional. The adults are the ones who keep them going.
