Just saw Godzilla Minus Zero in IMAX.
Good show to see , except for the anti-America propaganda and murder fantasy.... and all the freaking child actor 😭 crying. So much kid crying, it makes you hope for Godzilla's giant foot to come down and end the misery.

Today is the National Day for the Victims of Communism. Communism killed more than 100 million people in the 20th century.
This memorial, The Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Prague, powerfully captures what communism does to the human person.

A statistic that sounds fake but isn't: Not one single white American man born after 1984 has published a work of literary fiction in The New Yorker.
It's not because they stopped writing. It's because The New Yorker has refused to publish them. The publishing industry has blacked out a generation of male writers & then they wonder why boys don't read.
About 70% of publishing professionals are women.
Because agents and editors tend to select books they personally relate to, an increasing number of male authors are being sidelined in the publishing industry, resulting in an overwhelming number of female protagonists on our shelves—and a dearth of male ones.
No wonder young men are no longer reading.
Today's romantic fascination with socialism may be due to educators wanting to avoid the topic. My kid’s giant world history book in high school had only two paragraphs about the world’s biggest post WWII mass murder event, The Great Leap Forward. It’s almost as if they wouldn’t put it in at all if they could’ve avoided it.
Even today, twitter is full of apologists for Mao’s atrocities
Mao Zedong's Great Leap Forward killed an estimated 45 million people between 1958 and 1962, and the backyard steel furnace campaign sits at the center of that catastrophe as a textbook case of central planning consuming itself alive.
Mao's logic was simple. If the Soviet Union had industrialized through state-directed production, China would do it faster and bigger. He ordered peasants across every province to smelt steel in small furnaces built on collective land. Party officials set output quotas with no reference to the resources, skills or demand that actually existed. Farmers melted down their own plows, woks and door hinges to hit the numbers, and stripped hillsides bare for fuel. What came out of those furnaces was mostly pig iron so brittle it had no industrial use. The quotas got reported as fulfilled, the statistics traveled up the command chain, and Beijing celebrated a triumph that existed only on paper.
Think about what those farmers abandoned to stand at furnaces all day. By most estimates, the 1958 harvest was decent. With the rural labor force diverted to smelting, the crops rotted unharvested in the fields. Free market economists call this opportunity cost: every hour a farmer spent producing worthless slag was an hour not spent producing food. Had anyone been allowed to use the price system, it would have made that tradeoff visible at once, because prices signal scarcity. Planners issue directives and wait for reality to disobey them.
Local officials who reported shortfalls faced execution or the labor camps, so they reported surpluses. Beijing then exported grain, partly to pay its debts to the Soviet Union and partly to project an image of socialist success, while provinces like Anhui and Sichuan descended into mass starvation. The state had monopolized food distribution, so when the numbers were wrong, there was no private market or informal trade left to move grain to the dying. The apparatus built to feed people became the mechanism that starved them.
Abolish private property and price signals, and you get 45 million corpses and a generation of Chinese children stunted by famine.

"This is what happens when Liberal identity politics take priority over clear communication about biological reality."
"A pregnant person is a person who is pregnant."
That's the answer the Liberal-appointed head of the PUBLIC HEALTH AGENCY OF CANADA gave when asked to define a term used in her own agency's taxpayer-funded guidance on pregnancy.
When pressed to explain how that differs medically from a pregnant woman, she couldn't give a clear answer.
Our own Public Health Agency can't even clearly define the language it publishes in its public health guidance...or tell Canadians whether a man can get pregnant.
This is what happens when Liberal identity politics take priority over clear communication about biological reality.
Oddly enough, watching this very same reporter's interview of a voter on election day, I found him dishearteningly biased...in favor of El-Sayed.
Enjoy being eaten last, Boyo.
Michigan's Democratic candidate for Senate Abdul El-Sayed confronted @jamesmatthewsky, telling him he wouldn't answer his questions as he wants "zero" votes in the UK.

Last night is exactly why no President has dealt with Iran before now
We don't reward Presidents for acting in the best long-term interest of the country
We reward them for avoiding difficult decisions if it means we don't have to make any sacrifices during any given 2yr period
Will he be the one to save us from
the Vance-ocalypse™️, that makes these midterms seem like December 6th?
But besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
Understand the implications of what happened in Texas last night.
Gina Hinojosa has called on Gov. Abbott to end state & local cooperation with ICE & she can order that on day one.
Hinojosa voted against the 2017 SB 4 as a TX state rep. The bill was essentially a sanctuary cities ban and required TX law enforcement to cooperate with ICE detainers. She then voted against another SB 4 in 2023, which made it a state crime to cross illegally into Texas.
Should there be another border crisis in coming years, there will likely be no resistance from Texas at the border. No Texas DPS, no TX National Guard, no razor wire or water buoys, and no Operation Lone Star, which Hinojosa called a “dog and pony show” and “political theater”.
Remember when 15,000 Haitians surged illegally into Del Rio, TX in 2021 under the international bridge? That was only stopped because Texas DPS responded on Abbott’s orders and physically blocked further crossings by lining up their cruisers to form a wall. The Biden Border Patrol was caught off guard and offered almost no resistance, except for some horseback agents who were falsely slandered for “whipping”.
Additionally, because Republicans failed to pass any legislation codifying President Trump’s border security measures, if Dems take the White House in 2028, that Dem president could, if he/she wants to, reverse every single Trump border security policy immediately upon taking office because they were all done at the executive level, and they can order Border Patrol to go back to a passive catch & release policy like we saw under Biden.

Jewish Democrats are hopeful today that with U.S. funding to Israel ending and AIPAC politically diminished and no longer funding candidates, the hatred will stop.
Here in Canada we have no AIPAC equivalent, and our funding to Israel is insignificant.
The hatred is worse.

Democrats still haven't learned how deeply unpopular the gender ideology shit is with parents. We don't want it anywhere near our kids. Anywhere.
Well, that interview completely BACKFIRED on CNN.
Anchor Brianna Keilar was on the ground in Fort Worth, Texas, speaking to voters who had just cast their ballots.
They chose to interview a Hispanic woman named Carla, thinking she would be a sure Democrat lock.
Instead, Carla told CNN that she voted STRAIGHT TICKET Republican...backing both Ken Paxton and Greg Abbott.
She specifically pointed to Democrats’ push to transition young children as one of the issues that motivated her vote.
CARLA: “Trying to teach kids at an early age who and what they should be, it’s… I just don’t think it’s right.”
KEILAR: “Was that something that really motivated you in this election?”
CARLA: “Yeah…”
What followed was a long, awkward silence before CNN quickly wrapped up the interview.
Probably not the response they were hoping to broadcast to their viewers.
This hillbilly arrest sponsored by Adidas.
He went from watching the game to the main event in the stadium.
We are in Jacksonville for the Florida vs. Georgia rivalry game at EverBank Stadium.
stadium security staff (S.A.F.E.) requested law enforcement assistance in Section 349. Security had officially ejected 39-year-old Walter Brown of Callahan, Florida, after he reportedly became hostile, confronted staff, and engaged in heated altercations with surrounding spectators.
When JSO Officers Bowers and Kelly stepped into the aisle to escort Brown off the premises, things unraveled fast.
It started with him refusing to comply. Officers repeatedly explained that the venue is private property and that once ejected, remaining is a criminal trespass. Rather than gathering his belongings, Brown argued that someone had assaulted him and adamantly refused to stand.
When warned again that he had no choice but to exit the concourse, Brown leveled an explicit death threat directly at the officers: "I told you, I'm either going to k!ll a cop or not leave. One or the other."
Officer Kelly drew his conductive energy weapon (CEW) and gave repeated commands for Brown to get up. Instead of complying, Brown dared officers to tase him. Kelly deployed the taser to neutralize the threat and secure him.
The initial deployment failed to immediately subdue Brown. He continued to grapple across the rows of stadium seats, hurled racial slurs at the officers, and dared them to draw their service firearms as officers wrestled to get him in handcuffs.
Multiple back-up units had to sprint up the section stairs to finally bring him under control.
Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters addressed the viral fallout directly during a press briefing two days later, backing his officers' actions and underscoring a reality of law enforcement.
"Just because the force is ugly does not mean it is unlawful or contrary to policy."
Brown was booked into the Duval County Jail on multiple charges, including trespassing after warning, resisting an officer with violence, and disorderly conduct.
The fans got a double feature as the battle on the football field wasn't the only game in the stadium that day.

If you're a moderate Democrat who chooses to endorse a moderate Republican over a far-left extremist, your "friends" from politics will all immediately attack you as a mentally ill, emotionally unstable woman being controlled by Jewish handlers—and fake journalists will ridicule your fiancé for being blind.
