One of the benefits of doing extreme volume of work in pursuit of a goal is that it keeps you from thinking about all the ways in which things could go wrong.

A friend of mine said 'Life really does begin at forty. Until then, you are just doing research. ' and that struck right with me on so many levels.

More time is wasted looking for a shortcut to the goal than would have been spent in actually achieving the goal.

Summary of all self-help advice: Desire - Want it. Faith - Believe in it and in yourself. Action - Do it. Perseverance - Keep at it. It all comes down to the same thing.
I’m convinced 95% of being a high performer is to just do 5 things: - Be obsessed like a psychopath - Have delusional optimism - Avoid unserious people - Take asymmetric risks - Be relentless

Way to go @opencode!
Deepseek V4.1 Flash is infinite in Opencode Go! Have been running it near non-stop at Max setting for 2 days now and still expended only 11% of my monthly quota. This seems inexhaustible!

The world is literally Hogwarts' "Room of Requirement".
it's truly ironic that the best learning tools in the history of the world have arrived precisely when our attention spans as humans have completely collapsed

It certainly is reassuring to have at least one "elite" in our corner. To have that elite be the richest and most powerful of all is akin to having the "one ring to rule them all'' :)
I don't think you realize how lucky we are to have an Elon Musk at this level, actually fighting this thing. Because let's be clear about the sides. On one side, the people. The vast majority. Common sense, hard work, family, and one simple wish: to live in peace. On the other, an illegitimate elite. Mostly globalist, which at its core is a communist project: managing humanity from the top, like a system. And since that project doesn't work (it has never worked anywhere), they survive in only one way: lies. To hold on, this elite built systems of coercion and corruption. Ukraine is one of them. They've also captured and corrupted a huge share of the institutions that were supposed to protect us. Take Bill Gates. On this line for years. It's no accident he ended up at the heart of Covid policy. Just ask yourself: why is a software billionaire talking directly to Fauci before the vaccine rollout even starts, as if he were part of the operation? These people see humanity as a herd to be administered. But they're terrible at economics. They don't understand their model can't work. So instead of saying "we were wrong, let's change," they lie. They double down. And that's exactly what makes them dangerous. Honestly, this system was almost impossible to break. And then, by the most improbable of chances, there's one man. The richest man in the world. Who chose the side of the people against these illegitimate, mostly left-wing elites. And who's throwing all his power into this fight. The system is dying. And he's the one pushing. Think for two seconds. If Elon wanted to enslave humanity, he could have done it long ago. All he had to do was make a deal with the globalists. He'd have everything he wants, right now. He did the opposite. That should tell you whose side he's on.

He just wanted an excuse to change his mind. The decision was made first. The rationalization came after.
A coworker of mine who once called Elon a Nazi finally said he scheduled to test drive a Model Y yesterday after he learned that I own 2 of them and we talked for an hour about how much I love them and how good FSD is. I asked him how the demo drive went and he told me he cancelled it because he saw on the news how teslas have been hitting people and crashing into trees and houses and that he doesn’t trust that kind of technology. Unreal how fragile people are and how blindly they just believe legacy media.

Some people train themselves to be ambidextrous by having both their hands do different things at the same time. This is just the next evolutionary step.

I think one's reaction to the Tesla Roadster Event tells you a lot more about how much you like Elon Musk than it does about your own level of happiness. I love that guy. My personal happiness ain't that great right now, but I still thought that the event was mind-blowing.
I’ve noticed a trend. You can tell a lot about an individual’s happiness in life based on their reaction to the Tesla Roadster Event. Those that are happy find it to have been unbelievable and are awe inspired. Those that are unhappy typically say things like “what’s the point” and seem to believe that you either solve world hunger OR solve flying cars. You are the 5 people you surround yourself with the most. I choose happy people. 😊

Being impatient. You sit by the bank of the river long enough, and you will see the bodies of your enemies flow by. It's all about patience.
None of my posts seem to cross 1K views. What am I doing wrong?

Crazy! Made just one 'happy to connect' post and my timeline is now riddled with countless such other posts. If only the X algo was this proactive in getting me more deep thinkers on my timeline. X, do your thing!

Those who cannot control themselves will always be looking for someone else to control them.
Replying to @Rothmus
Those who are opposed to corporations and favor government do not realize that government is simply the largest, most monopolistic corporation of all and it has a monopoly on violence.
