One thing that caught my attention about @ProjectSphereXY is how much of the whole idea depends on something called a “cell.” The team has talked about owning cells and harvesting their energy, and the Genesis lore describes them as collectors that draw power from a star. The sphere itself is built one cell at a time, with those cells continuing to harvest energy even after the sphere is complete. On October 27, the website showed 2,562 cells. So clearly, cells are a big part of how this whole system is supposed to work. The concept makes sense to me. Small units come together to build something much bigger. But understanding the idea is one thing. Knowing how it actually works is another. How do you get a cell? Do you earn it, mint it, or buy it? Is it an NFT or simply an in-game asset? Do all cells generate the same amount of energy? And can that energy be traded or used for something else? These are the details I’m still waiting to see explained. I’m not calling it a red flag because the game isn’t fully live yet. But until these mechanics become clearer, I think it’s too early to make big assumptions about the value of owning a cell. For me, the real test of @ProjectSphereXY will be how well the team turns this interesting sci-fi concept into a working system.
