My biggest pet peeve is when someone gives advice about audio, AND IT'S WRONG ahh
With a degree in Post Production (editing) and 10 years working in the industry for tv, my advice is...
Audio Mixer OBS:
Voice: -5db (THE RED ZONE IS GOOD, never get to 0)
Game: between -20db & -15db (Yellow)
Music: between -45db & -35db (Low Green)
People saying never to put audio in the red zone are flat out wrong. You want to avoid distortion, which is when it peaks at 0 and above, but your voice should be louder than the game.
Hope this helps!

Don’t buy this. They did a full demonstration and reveal the way it was because they thought it looked great. If it looked bad, they would’ve just waited to have the devs show off how good it could look. GenAI isn’t here to produce art. It’s tricking you into thinking it is.

Translation:
We got caught.
We lied to you about getting caught.
We got caught again.
We tried to distance ourself from one problematic company for another problematic company.
We got caught doing that too.
We're going to try again in 6 months and hope none of you notice.

Since this is a wall of text article and the headline doesn't say, this quick-to-read context is necessary:
Discord is STILL rolling out Age Verification methods, just delayed to the second half of 2026 per the very own article in this post.

Outlaws, I need your help!
This Tuesday (Nov 25), I’m doing a 12-hour charity stream to raise funds for my local homeless community.
Texas freezes hit HARD, and I’ve seen too many people still outside with no warmth.
I’m raising $250 to buy:
🧣 Blankets
🧦 Socks
🎒 Backpacks
🧥 Jackets
All from local thrift stores so we can help as many people as possible.
If we pass the goal, the extra will go toward an Angel Tree for Christmas. 🎄
If you’ve wanted to help someone this year, this is your chance. Let’s make someone’s Christmas a little warmer. 💖

Gamers today are spoiled and as a result they lack tolerance and don't know what an actual bad game is.
So any game that isn't the highest of quality with the most realistic graphics, the best controls and 500 hours of bloated content. They label them as mid, trash or slop.
